Looking for a suitable Workaway in Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, or Brazil in February or March 2026.

Beschreibung

Hi! We are Florence and Josh, two Australians travelling South America until April 2026.

In Australia we were living in the beautiful town of Cairns, Queensland. Florence (27) is a marine biologist and was working on tourist boats going to the Great Barrier Reef and Josh (29) is a civil engineer who was working in civil construction.

We are both easy going individuals and enjoy spending time with friends, enjoying the outdoors, and enjoying great food and the odd glass of wine.

We both love small projects such as gardening, woodworking, sewing, drawing, painting, and the creation of all types of things. We always try to keep our minds active and enjoy helping other people.

We love experiencing different cultures, traditions, and the great food around the world.

We have currently completed five Workaway experiences which we have thoroughly enjoyed!

- In Italy where we undertook many different tasks such as tiling, plastering, woodworking, with the final goal being to fully renovate a house and yard.

- In Morocco where we volunteered at a language school helping to teach English to Moroccan students of ages 8 to 50.

- In Somerset, England helping a couple in their house with gardening, house work, and looking after two dogs.

- In Crete, Greece doing mainly landscaping, garden work, outdoor painting, and dog minding 8 dogs.

- In Italy helping at a mostly self sufficient property doing garden and yard work and maintenance jobs including tiling, looking after goats, dogs and chickens, and also some sewing jobs.

We are both very good at, passionate about, and have experience in the following
- gardening including planting, landscaping and maintaining
- small carpentry jobs including working with and creating things out of timber
- plastering and painting inside and outdoor spaces
- tiling jobs
- cleaning and tidying inside and outside the house/general areas
- photography
- general computer and technology usage
- social media and video editing
- sewing and creation/fixing/altercation of clothing, tableclothes etc
- general cooking/baking of all different types of meals, snacks, deserts etc
- helping to teach English to varying ages

We are both very adaptable and are very willing to learn about and undertake any tasks that may be required around your house or property!
