My name is Véronique, originally from the North of France, I've been a French teacher for foreigners for more than 20 years.
I also am a plastician: photography and collage (I have done exhibitions in the past).

I am the mother of two children, my eldest son now lives in Greece, and my daughter has lived in many countries throughout the past 10 years.

I love travelling and started to do so when I was young; I've traveled to most countries in Europe, the US and the caribbean. I used to live in Ireland, and travel often to Spain where my daughter now lives.

I'm athletic, I love biking and walking, which I also use as means of transportation. I have my drivers licence but I don't own a car anymore as I prefer more sustainable ways of moving around.
I'm very fond of nature and outdoor spaces, I enjoy gardening as well. I practice dance, stretching and archery and love board games.

I really enjoy being around children, I raised both of my kids by myself.

I've been living in Vichy (near Lyon in France) for the past three years; after spending the last 20 years in Paris, where I also worked as a tour guide.

I am now learning Italian, as I want to explore and discover more of Italy, I have only been to Rome and Venice so far, which I both enjoyed very much.

I would love to discover Italy; its language, its culture and its people through Workaway; by living in Italy and connecting with people, instead of the usual touristy way.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Enseignante pour les étrangers, j'aime transmettre mes connaissances aussi dans le domaine des arts puisque je suis aussi guide touristique et j'ai étudié l'histoire de l'art. Je décore, je couds, je cloue, je scie. Je cuisine les produits du marché (local de préférence) végétarien, traditionnel et exotique. Je pratique la photographie, les collages, les couleurs (pastels).
Je joue aux cartes, aux jeux de société, au ping-pond, au badminton, au tennis, à la pétanque et je pratique le tir à l'arc.
je conduis mais je privilégie le vélo et la marche.
J'aime surtout partager, découvrir, communiquer dans la bonne humeur.

mes jeux de société préférés sont le jeu de cartes MAGIC, j'ai mes propres decks; j'adore le rumikube (jeu de chiffres) , je joue à la belote, au rami, au tarot essentiellement.
J'écoute beaucoup de musique (du monde, le classique, le jazz, la pop des seventies, les auteurs-compositeurs-interprètes) et j'aime chanter.
Je suis une grande lectrice et j'aime écouter les conteurs.
J'aime aussi observer l'architecture, la faune et la flore; j'apprécie le silence ...et la cuisine du terroir.
