Hi,
To be honest, I have no clue what I am supposed to write here but I hope I did it somewhat correctly.
I'm a German 19-year-old girl who just finished school.
I love travelling and want to explore as much of the world as possible, which I wanna do with the help of workaway.
I am part of a big and a bit chaotic family which I love dearly. I am a middle child of 6 children and enjoy taking care of my little siblings and my newly born niece. In my free time, I try to spend as much time with them or my friends as possible. I also take pleasure in being in nature, meaning going on hikes or walks with our dogs. Furthermore, I love anything that has to do with spending time with animals, hence my family has always kept several animals around and I have done horse riding from the ages of 4 till 16.
I don’t mind hard work, considering I have been working various jobs while going to school since I was around 13 years old.
I have been obsessed with travelling my whole life especially since I did a language exchange in Bristol for one month in 2022 and volunteered at a shelter for hurt stray dogs in Sri Lanka for a month in 2023. One of the things I love most about travelling is meeting new people and learning about their culture and I hope to be doing that quite a lot in the near future.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I spent from June - December 2025 travelling in south east Asia and did 4 Woraways along the way. I worked in 3 Hostels and in one school as an English tutor and I loved all of those experiences.
For the last 2,5 years, I have been working as a waitress while going to school and I have been loving working in hospitality so far. I really enjoy working with people (especially with children), that's why I did two internships at two Kindergartens and loved every second of it. These experiences inspired me to want to study social work at uni, but first I wanna take a break from studying all the time and travel a bit.
I also love working with animals, hence the volunteering at a dog shelter (& one of the jobs I have done was helping out at a horse farm where I also took care of the animals there for about 1.5 years).
At my language exchange to England, I received my C2 English level certificate and I would love to share these English skills by teaching others.
