Beschreibung

Hello my name is Angelina and I was born in Sydney Australia of Italian parents. I have always travelled with family and friends, enjoying different cultures, customs and languages. I have always volunteered at home working with charity organisations that help disadvantaged children and Teaching English to migrants to help them better integrate into society.
I am kind, caring and compassionate and love to smile and laugh and try not to take life too seriously.
I decided to volunteer abroad with Workaway to blend my two passions helping others and my love for travelling with my one true passion being Italy and the country of my parents. I am interested in volunteering in Italy as I want to immerse myself in an Italian community and learn my hosts culture as I grew up in an Italian household here in Australia and have experienced the warmth of European connections.
I have a Science degree and work in a large public hospital and a degree in Teaching English (TESOL). After finishing my studies I started a Community Centre English Language programme part time teaching English to migrants from all over the world on a volunteer basis.
My hope as a volunteer with Workaway is to become part of the community I do my placement in so that I can Teach English and practise my conversational Italian in the community as well as meet new people.
My ideal Homestay would involve helping you with your children and teaching English.
