Hi! We’ve recently decided to leave our jobs and give up the stability of everyday life to travel, discover new countries, and get to know their nature, people, culture, and cousine.

Beschreibung

Hi! We are Klara from Poland and Felix from Spain, a couple who met during Klara’s semester abroad in A Coruña, Felix’s hometown. We soon realized that we wanted to live in the same way, travel, be kind and keep trying new things together.

After some long distance, we eventually moved to the Czech Republic, where we spent 9 months volunteering with an NGO focused on community building and non-formal education. We then travelled around South America for five months, combining travel with volunteering, before settling in Poland, where we worked and saved for the next 2.5 years.

Now we have decided to leave our jobs and start another chapter of exploring the world, this time travelling through Asia. We are looking for opportunities to slow down from the fast pace of travelling, stay somewhere for a while, get to know a place better, meet locals and contribute what we can.

We are both friendly, open-minded and responsible, and genuinely enjoy being useful and learning new things. We love children and animals, being outdoors, trying local food and discovering new cultures and places. We are also happy to get our hands dirty and learn practical skills along the way.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Klara: I have a Master’s degree in Spanish Philology and speak Polish (native), English and Spanish fluently.

During my studies, I worked as a camp counsellor and taught chess and languages to people of different ages. I have been an active chess player for many years and also worked as a chess arbiter. I have taught chess in schools and preschools, so I am comfortable working with children and organising activities for them.

During our time in the Czech Republic, I worked with an NGO focused on non-formal education. My responsibilities included facilitating educational workshops, teaching English and Spanish to seniors and individual learners, helping organise events and writing project proposals for funding.

In Warsaw, I first worked as a Personal Assistant for a small company, where I handled various administrative and logistical tasks, translated documents and helped with international industry fairs. Later, I worked as a Data Verification Specialist, where my main responsibility was handling and carefully verifying different types of documents.

Thanks to my varied background I am comfortable both working with people and handling more administrative or organisational tasks.


Felix: I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility. I am a native Spanish speaker and also speak English and Galician.

I have experience tutoring languages and working with children in a language school, as well as volunteering and working with two different NGOs. These experiences involved working with people of different ages and backgrounds, organising activities and communicating with people directly. More recently, I worked in customer service and in the technical side of card payments.

Klara and I also have some hands-on experience from our travels in South America, where we briefly worked at a vineyard. This included gardening, weeding and helping with animals.

I am a handy and responsible person who likes taking initiative and figuring things out. I enjoy cooking and physical tasks, and I am quite comfortable with technology, setting up devices and solving internet/network issues. I am always happy to learn something new and give a hand wherever needed. I also love animals and have volunteered at an animal shelter in the past.
