I'm a 21 years old student at Galatasaray University, a university which is founded by the cooperation of Turkish and French governments, where I study international relations. During my first year there, I've only studied French (it's a mandatory education called preparation), and tested my french and gained experience in France last year via Workaway. This year, I continued actively speaking French as my courses were hold in that language and I consider myself more fluent with my certificate of B2 with a point of 77.5/100. I aim to become fluent like a native and get closer to the culture, the lifestyle and the heritage.

I can speak English and French beside my native language Turkish and I've obtained an A2 level in German before. Being able to interact at these languages allows me to express myself better and get into dialogues with others easily. While learning the languages, I've also learned the cultures of their countries and Istanbul, the city I live in, also has a rich culture which made me gain a big cultural background. I don't think that I will have difficulties in adapting to new environments.

I enjoy discovering new things and situations, trying to enlarge my comfort zone that's why I'm here applying to Workaway. New cultures, new lifestyles, new people and new opportunities are what I look for. I've also worked as a voluntary tourist guide before therefore I'm similar to many cultures. By joining you, I'm hoping to form a bond transmitting our cultures and experiences.

As a Workawayer, I do not slack off from what I got to do and I do my work with enthusiasm. Only problem is that I have herniated disc, I have been operated at 08.03.2024 and I had to take physiotherapy between 30.06.2025 - 18.07.2025. I can't do hard labour, carry heavy things (maximum of 3 kgs) or face hard physical conditions. Last year, in my Workaway experience after the surgery, I took care of 2 lovely children and spent most of the time general maintenance at home, like cooking or cleaning. I can also teach stuff as I gained my money this year from teaching English. I will work as much as my spine lets me. I'm open to both personal and group work. I'd be very glad if I can find the opportunity to contribute in general. I look forward to create unforgettable memories with my hosts.

Je suis une 201-ans étudiante de relations internationales à l'Université Galatasaray qui est fondé par la coopération des gouvernements français et turc, où j'étude relations internationales. Pendant ma première année ici, j'ai étudie seulement le français (c’est une formation obligatoire appelée préparation) et j'ai vérifié mes competences en français et obtenu d'experience en France l'année dernière via Workaway. Cette année, j'ai continué à parler activement le français alors que mes cours étaient tenus dans cette langue et je me considère plus fluide avec mon certificate de B2 avec un point 77.5 sur 100. Je vise devenir fluide comme une native et me rapprocher à la culture, le mode de vie et l'héritage.

Je peux parler couramment anglais et français à coté de ma langue maternelle turque et j'ai déjà obtenu un niveau de A2 en allemand. Ma capacité d'interagir en ces langues me permet de m'exprimer mieux et d'engager plus facilement en dialogues. En apprenant ces langues, j'ai aussi découvert les cultures des pays les utilisant et Istanbul où j'habite aussi a une culture très riche qui me fait gagner un important bagage culturel. Je ne pense pas que ce soit difficile pour m'adapter aux nouveaux environments.

J'aime découvrir nouvelles choses et situations, essayer d'agrandir ma zone de confort, c'est pourquoi je m'applique ici, Workaway. Je cherche nouvelles cultures, nouveaux modes de vie, nouvelles personnes et nouvelles opportunités. J'ai travaillé comme une guide de tourist volontaire avant, c'est pourquoi je suis similaire aux nombreuses cultures. En vous rejoignant, je souhaite former un lien transmettant nos cultures et expériences.

En tant qu'une Workawayeuse, je ne me relâche pas de ce que je dois faire et je fais mon travail avec enthousiasme. Le seul problème est que j'ai hernie discale, j'ai été opérée en 08.03.2024 et je devais recevoir une physiothérapie entre 30.06.2025 - 18.07.2025. Je ne peux pas faire des travaux forcés, porter des lourdes (3 kgs au maximum) ou faire face à des conditions physiques difficiles. L'année dernière, pendant mon experience de Workaway après l'opération, je me suis occupé de deux adorables enfants et j'ai passé la plupart de mon temps à l'entretien général à la maison comme cuisiner ou nettoyer. Je peux aussi enseigner comme j'ai obtenu mon argent cette année en apprenant l'anglais. Je vais travailler autant que ma colonne vertébrale me le permet. Je suis ouverte travail personnel ou en group. Je serais très heureux si je pouvais trouver l’opportunité de contribuer en général. J’ai hâte de créer des souvenirs inoubliables avec mes hôtes.

I'm really intrigued by languages and can't stop learning them! I also learn alphabets of the languages that I can't learn at that time like Greek or Russian. I can fluently speak English and French and can keep up a conversation in German but my Korean and Spanish still needs to be studied more, I'm open to all help towards them. If needed, I'm open to teach the languages and practice them. Other than languages, I love cooking and baking. I've started to do them recently as I started to live alone last year but I think I've made a good progress. I also cooked for the family in my last stay at France via Workaway. I dye and cut my hair myself and I'm the hairdresser of everyone in the family, including the males. I've created jewelry as a hobby for a while but I dropped that hobby because of the lack of the motivation. I played volleyball professionally but I can't anymore because of my illness. I write short stories and poems in my native language too.

Je suis vraiment intriguée par les langues et je ne peux pas arrêter de les apprendre ! J’apprends aussi l’alphabet des langues que je ne peux pas apprendre à ce moment-là comme le grec ou le russe. Je peux parler couramment l’anglais et le français et maintenir une conversation en allemand, mais mon coréen et mon espagnol doivent encore être étudiés davantage, je suis ouverte à toute aide à leur égard. Si nécessaire, je suis ouverte à enseigner les langues et à les pratiquer. En dehors des langues, j’adore cuisiner et faire de la pâtisserie. J’ai commencé à les faire récemment car j’ai commencé à vivre seule l’année dernière mais je pense que j’ai bien progressé. J’ai aussi cuisiné pour la famille lors de mon dernier séjour en France via Workaway. Je teins et coupe mes cheveux moi-même et je suis le coiffeur de toute la famille, y compris les hommes. J’ai créé des bijoux comme passe-temps pendant un moment, mais j’ai abandonné ce passe-temps à cause du manque de motivation. Je jouais au volleyball professionnellement mais je ne peux plus à cause de ma maladie. J’écris aussi des nouvelles et des poèmes dans ma langue maternelle.
