Hi there!
I'm an ambitious and curious, young woman looking for new experiences. I am currently studying to become a psychologist at a university in Sweden. But long days of studying and sitting in front of a computer has really gotten me dreaming about doing some practical, physical work. I like to work hard and I'm not afraid to get some dirt under my nails!

Two summers ago I had my first work away experience (six weeks of plastic picking in the Norwegian archipelago) I had a wonderful time and felt like it was something I wanted to try out more. From that place I learned that I enjoy working in groups and love to be outside all day long!

As a person I tend to be optimistic and caring for others. During the last years I've worked as an au pair, substitute teacher, local reporter, deckhand, waitress and as a teachers assistant (supporting students with NPF). I like to plan things, take initiative and are often described as the mother of the friend group.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My family owns a rustic summer cabin and I've always helped with fixing things around the house, everything from repainting walls to chop wood.

- I like physical work and I'm pretty eager with getting the work done, as long as I get to sit down with a cup of coffee afterwards!

- I have experience working as a waitress from working at a restaurant during weekends when I was in high school.

- I have worked with masonry and restoration of stone walls as I participated in an Europe solidarity corps-project where we worked with preserving a medieval castle.

- I work well with kids, since I've worked in primary school (6-12 year olds) for three years. I think it’s fun to teach and be around children. I’m very patient and calm, my philosophy is to let the students/kids do things in their time and learn things from experience.

- I love to draw & paint and have recently gotten interested in "Kurbits" paintings, an old artform form the north of Sweden (see picture)

Was noch ...

I dream about living in the country side, having a small farm that's partly self sufficient, growing crops and having sheep. So I'm curious about this life style and eager to learn as much as possible!
