Searching for our next adventure!

Beschreibung

Hello! We are Orlando & Lexi, we are a married couple of 2 years, we are so excited to explore the world, we can't wait to connect with like-minded individuals! What brings us happiness is contributing to make this world a better place in any way possible. Seeing the world is something we both dream of! Although we are both Canadian citizens, we both came from different areas of the world, Orlando is originally from Havana, Cuba and Lexi is originally from Moldova, Chisinau. We are multi-lingual (English, Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian) we are always looking to further expand our language skills as well as share ours with others. The children in the photos are not ours, just thought it would help to show Lexi's experience with them. Our goal is to one day have our own off-grid home, so we are excited to learn from all the wonderful people who are ahead of us.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Lexi is very experienced with cooking; she follows a plant-based diet and likes to cook as many healthy, flavorful options as possible. Orlando is not plant-based but is also very health-conscious. Lexi is highly tech-savvy and runs a social media business. She is also a great photographer and videographer with expertise in all things marketing and creative. Her education is in Social Services, and she is currently in the process of going back to school online to study and earn a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Lexi also used to own a small cleaning company; she is great at cleaning and organizing and prefers to use natural products that she makes herself from natural ingredients. She also has a lot of experience with child care, having watched her friends' children on numerous occasions. Orlando is trained as a Medical Lab Technician and is very passionate about science. Some of his skills include landscaping, construction, gardening, mycology, first aid, CPR, AED, driving large vehicles, chopping wood, camping experience, and optimizing natural resources. We also both very open to always be learning new skills :) We have a "can do" attitude.

Was noch ...

We do plan to travel with out beautiful cat Tesla, we had two but sadly he passed away 2 weeks ago. We wanted to make sure to mention this, in case that's a deal-breaker for someone who is hosting us and may have an allergy. His breed is Russian Blue, he's very sweet, he's lived with a dog before as we often watch my parents dog and he is very easy going in her presence. Tesla is still quite young under 2 years old. We both love to do yoga, lift weights, we do like playing Nintendo. We recently visited Germany and Amsterdam (not through workway, just a personal trip) and we fell in love with Europe, part of the reason we made the decision to join this site. We are explorers at heart who love to be around nature as much as possible, it's where we feel at home.
