Hello!
My name is Evita and I'm currently 19 years old. Now that I've finished school, I'm looking for a new adventure. I always loved travelling. This year I also got the chance to do Interrail with my sister. We've been to seven different countries. Now I'm ready to explore more places in Europe on my own and get to know new cultures and locals.
Music brings me a lot of happiness. I love singing, playing the piano and the guitar. I do practise singing around an hour a day and it would be very important for me that it doesn't bother you :)

I'm very interested in improving my Italian and English. I've learned Italian for 4 years. I understand it well but sometimes I struggle with talking, because we mostly learned about grammar. I can understand and talk English well, but I always try to get better. I'm also open to learn some basics in other languages :) If you want I can help you with German (or simple English).

I love animals and the nature, therefore I'd be very excited to help you walking the dog(s), feed the animals, muck out the stables, mow the lawn, pick up leaves,... Wherever help is needed, I'm happy to do so. I always helped my mum with light housework, therefore I'm pleased to help you there as well.

vom Host (Dive into the southern ...) für Workawayer ()

Evita stayed with us for about two months, and immediately integrated into our family and community.
She's a sweet, kind, and polite girl, always ready to help us at home or with the children.
Her added value? She speaks excellent Italian, which made everything much easier.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Dive into the southern ...)

I spend my January and March with Antonella, Claudio, Raffaele and Giuseppe . I had the most wonderful experience . They greeted me with a warm welcome and from the very first moment they made me feel at home. Claudio and I sometimes went on a walk with Kaos the dog, where we talked about many things (mostly about music) which helped me practice… read more my Italian. Since Claudio also loves to sing, we sang many duets together. I really loved that. Antonella, is a wonderful mother. She always put a smile on the kids faces and she is so understanding. She also suggested me many places I could visit. During dinner, Claudio, Antonella and I, we always exchanged about cultural differences, experiences and many more topics. Raffi, is such an energetic and sweet child. In January, we played a lot with the Lego and the Playmobil. We also drew many pictures. In March, we’ve often been to the playground, sometimes we also went down to the beach. Once we also did a picnic, which I absolutely loved because he wanted to do it in a very narrow alley. Once I told him that I was cold, and then he just brought me his bathrobe while saying: I know it’s a bit small, but put it on so you don’t feel cold anymore (he’a literally the sweetest). With Giuseppe, I spent less time, because usually after school I was with Raffaele and Antonella was with Giuseppe. However, he is very cute (and he LOVES food haha). We played football together in the playground in front of the school, we played with little cars and we drew some paintings. Still, he’s very fixed on Antonella. The kids and I we danced a lot to the song: La danza per la panza. I will never that, I had so much fun.

The hours were very clear, on weekdays I helped preparing the kids and walked them to school. In the afternoon I was with them from 16.20 until dinner (the food from Antonella is so incredibly delicious) and on the weekends from 8.00 until lunch.

You have plenty of time to explore all the surroundings of Massa Lubrense. Sorrento is very near and very easy to reach with the bus. Sorrento is very close to a lot of great Cities/ Places, which are very easy to reach by bus, train or ferry (Napels, Capri, Amalfi, Positano,…)

All in all, I am really glad that I could make my first Workaway experience with this wonderful family. I will definitely never forget this time.

I’m already looking forward to seeing you the next time, thank you so much for everything!
