Hello, I'm Erik. I'm passionate about communal living and mindfulness practices, and find that spending time in nature by hiking and camping is the best way to spend my time. I'm always looking for new retreats and meditation spaces to explore, and I love meeting others who share my interest in living with harmony; and also a healthy understanding of consciousness. For me, community and collaboration are important, and I'm excited to connect with like-minded individuals who value intentional living and growth.

I love doing basic household, cooking, working with wood (chainsaw, framing, etc) etc.
I know basic fundamental construction, but I'm willing to learn more by volunteering.
Main main bread and butter is graphic and webdesign, since I have a keen eye for typography and aesthetics. Writing down thoughts, yoga, meditation and learning about Buddhism also proved to be some skill.

I'm very glad I found this place where I could stay for a couple of weeks. It's super beautiful and has lots of real nature around where you can listen to various types of birds and meditate long time.
We did a clay floor for one room with materials found around the house which was a interesting thing to do, and it worked out pretty good.

Erik is very peaceful and quiet man. He payed deep attention to his work and details and did this very carefully. During his stay he was little bit sick; however I finished with him one layer of clay floor and made a nice porch from natural stone, you can see it on pictures, as well he helped in many other jobs.

The location, the project, the people, it altogether made a excellent Workaway experience. I didn't felt any pressure, and once you know the potential of the place, work becomes a lot easy. I was a bit septical at first when we took him as he was not very talkative but that changed very quickly. He was very helpful and even cooked for us a few times. Even he was not used to farm work he really gave a hand without complaining a single time. It was not easy as we made mainly wood and gardening which is really tiring. I didn t even have… read more
