Hello there!

I'm Erika, 35, architect and designer from Brazil. I've been volunteering through Workaway for almost two years, and I'm currently in Portugal in search of new experiences, opportunities to connect with people, and to lend a hand in projects that inspire me.

I loving cooking, hosting people, the outdoors, travel, and engaging conversations about life, culture, and community living. I believe that everyone in the world has something to teach you, and through service and sharing, we can learn and grow as human beings.

Cooking is my passion and hobby, and I find joy in gathering people around the table to enjoy a delicious meal and chat about life. I enjoy baking bread, experimenting with natural fermentation, trying new plant-based recipes, and exploring new flavors from around the world.

As an architect and designer, I am always eager to expand my repertoire and collaborate with creative and sustainable projects that inspire me to think differently. I can help with projects for your space, landscaping projects for your garden, creative solutions, art projects & DIY, graphic and visual design, photography, social media, and more.

I am interested in self-knowledge and healthy habits, including yoga and meditation. I am also a great listener and love spending time with kids and animals.

I'm grateful for the wealth of experiences I have had in recent years, which have helped me acquire numerous skills that make me feel confident in tackling any job. However, I am seeking new challenges and experiences that can help me continue to grow, especially in my areas of interest such as gastronomy and hospitality. Additionally, I would love to contribute my design skills to a project where I can be truly helpful.
