Dear Workaway Hosts :)

we are Emilia and Henri, two Students from Germany who are currently traveling through Asia to widen our horizons, experience new cultures, and meet incredible people from all around the globe :)

Currently, we are at the starting point of a new chapter and are both excited to meet new people, learn more about life, and keep enjoying incredible experiences. We hope to fit well into your project and that we are able to bring great energy anywhere we go!!

Get to know us better:

Hii, I'm Emilia a 24-year-old Girl from Germany! I spent the last few years studying for my Degree in Social Work to be able to support socially disadvantaged people from our communities in the future. Before that, I am eager to visit different parts of the world and connect with people from different walks of life. At home, I love getting involved in various art projects and learning from others. I also love to read!! I enjoy having a very colourful life with many different experiences so I can grow as a person and learn from others. As a social work student, I am very passionate about meeting new people and learning from everyone I encounter.

Hi, my Name is Henri. I am 24 years old, and I work as an occupational therapist in a workshop for handicapped people. When travelling, I love being in nature and taking part in any sort of outdoor activity. Furthermore, I enjoy biking, hiking, reading books, learning new things, working outside, eating a plant-based diet, gardening, connecting with people, and being in community. I feel a sense of responsibility for my environment; therefore, I want to be able to travel more consciously.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Emilia:

I am very passionate about different languages and how they shape different cultures. I am currently learning French (intermediate level :) + a bit of Korean and can speak English and German fluently. I love gaining new perspectives by living abroad and being a part of cultural exchange. A few Years ago, I had the chance to spend some incredible months working on an organic Farm in Ireland and Wales, where I helped with gardening, various types of household chores, and taking care of the Farm animals.



Henri:

I am reliable, curious, and motivated to learn new skills. I love physical hands-on work as well as working outdoors, so I'm up for any challenge :) I worked a few months in carpentry and also as a gardener. I also enjoy cooking and helping with meals. My work as an occupational therapist has made me a person who can easily adapt to new situations and overcome difficulties and challenges with resilience.
