We are interested in landscaping, building, animal care and mural painting but also cleaning rental properties and gardening.

Beschreibung

Hi we’re Ellie and Tom, a couple who have a love for exploring nature with hobbies like; hiking up mountains, rock climbing and mountain biking. We love learning about local wildlife, especially native birds.

We have been in Australia since June 2024. During this time we have been based in Sunshine Coast Hinterland on a workaway which involved building, carpentry, painting and decorating, gardening, whipper snipping, weeding, caring for chickens, and chores around the house. We are looking to carry on with this sort of work in a new area. We have our own car so can relocate to anywhere. We are flexible with how long we can stay from 1 week to a month or two.

During our time in Australia Tom has been working as a mural artist including painting Mapleton Library, Mapleton Men's Shed, a fish and chip shop and some residential watertanks. We love this work and are looking for more mural painting jobs.

For the past few months Ellie has been working 6 nights a week as a waitress in a small pizza restaurant. We both have our RSA and are happy to pick up extra paid work during our workaway stays.

At home Tom works as a freelance graphic designer and landscaper as well as running an small independent clothing brand. Ellie has worked as a jeweller for the past few years and has previously studied ceramics. We both love working with our hands and being outdoors and have a wide range of skills we can offer to hosts!

Our life at home is built around our weekend trips in our diy converted camper van. Waterfalls and mountains and the beach are our favourite places to explore. We are always up for trying out new activities and finding new hobbies. Our long term goal is to run a campsite of our own complete with ducks and goats so we appreciate everything we can learn through workaway hosts.
