Hi!
My name is Elisabetta, I’m 19 years old and I’m Italian, born and raised in Rome.
I’ve had the dream to go volunteer around the world since I was 15 years old, so becoming a Workaway volunteer is a huge opportunity for me.
I’m a very curious and friendly person: everything interests me, so I’m open and eager to learn new skills. I’m reliable and independent, I adapt easily and I’m not afraid of physical tasks.
I also absolutely love being in nature, hiking and exploring beautiful places. I enjoy outdoor work, gardening, and learning how to be more in tune with the environment.
I’m also quite creative: I love writing, drawing, dancing, cooking (I’m excited to learn how to cook new dishes!! Please teach me, I will share my country’s famous recipes!) and entertaining good conversations.
Helping around the house is something I truly don’t mind; cleaning actually relaxes me, and I’m always happy to help with whatever is needed.
I’m really open to everything and very respectful of the people and places around me.
I’m so excited for the new experiences and opportunities that are coming!

I studied in a high school specialising in languages. I’m Italian so I’m fluent in that; I’m also fluent in english since I’ve been studying it since I was more or less 5 years old. Also, I began studying spanish when I was 10 years old, but I can’t say I’m completely fluent. I learned some french in my years of high school but I’m not confident at all in speaking it. I’d love to learn more languages! -
