Beschreibung

I am Eduard, a 30 years old Romanian, that has been living in Denmark for the past 7 years.

In November '23, I will do the scary thing of quitting my job. My body, mind and soul are craving a break from the everyday city life, and looking to step into a mix of adventure of slow travel and immerse myself into the very unknown Latin American ways.

I've decided that there's no better time than now to finally have my first experience of Workaway!

When?

I'm leaving the Danish winter on the 1st of November, with the first stop in Costa Rica. One way ticket, what other way? Planning to stay few months. Maybe 3, maybe 6, maybe 12?

More about me:

It's been 7 years since I took the leap of faith and started a new journey in cold but beautiful Denmark. A bit of student life (Multimedia design studies), to freelancing, to working full time as a filmmaker and Social Media strategist. Being in front of the computer for these years has not been easy, so I my wish now is to see something else, connect to the land, learn new skills, live a slow life, while of course, as equally important: to be a part of a community.

I've always liked to get out of my comfort zone, after hitchhiking, wild camping around most Europe (also on the Camino de Santiago), backpacking SE ASia, and have always felt comfortable around nature.

Wishes for the experience
I would love to help with but not limited to: land work - harvesting, planting trees, taking care of animals, working in a hostel, etc, you name it! It would be great to be in the company of nice people in a save environment, where I'm able to talk, share and learn from this experience, but also have some time on my own. If I can improve my basic Spanish during my stay, it would be amazing!

Cooking skills and motivation to work with the land!

My plan is to work with the land, fruits, vegetables and open to other tasks as well. Haven't had much experience working with this as a city boy, but I do have the willingness and motivation to help and learn!

Besides that, I would rather stay away from the computer or the tasks that I usually do for work, but I am skilled with graphic design, photography, videography, Social Media, and a bunch of other digital stuff

Was noch ...

I am in love with nature. I would love to spend some free time hiking, in the forest, mountains, or visit nearby cities. I love to spend quality time with people, learn and teach, listen and tell stories.

Besides that, I like to play guitar from time to time, cook (European, Asian), take photos, make videos, play board games. I have the plan to do something new every week, so I'm open to all kinds of interesting activities!
