Hey!

I am Simeon, currently 26 years old and born Austrian.
As I have been working as a chef since my graduation I was lucky enough to travel to many different places all over the world for personal but also for professional reasons.
Since I was in my teens I have been going around the world looking for new people in new places and never got dissappointed.

Besides of getting to know new countries and their culture as well as it's people - for me as a chef -food always come at the very beginning. As a curious nature I am willing to try almost everything and always like to learn from any local cook. Sharing my own food culture also gives me a lot of joy!
As I grew up on the countryside I am well accustomed to digging in the dirt. Growing and especially eating vegetables and all other kinds of things you could eat or drink has been one of my biggest passions ever since. I am well trained in gardening techniques and the use of basic tools.
Working with animals would be nothing but great addition.

For me a healthy balance between resting your body and mind and physical exercise is important to feel healthy. Therefor, if I am not stuck in a kitchen I spend my time mostly outdoors. I do a lot of hiking, outdoor sleeping, like climbing, diving or running and am generally speaking eager to try everything else.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

As I grew up on the countryside and work as a chef I would claim to be good working with my hands. From an early age onward I was building things with family members, helped building the house we were living in. I am comfortable with cooking for people and sharing spaces (used to live in shared apartments for approx. 10 years). People have told me I am also a clean person who likes things calm.
When it comes to communication I have a very respectful approach but also try to be direct.

Was noch ...

Because my past has been very fast paced (moved in average once a year to another country) I am very much used to get to new places and dive in head first. In other words I believe to be quiet easy when it comes to getting to know me and becoming open. Besides it is not my first workaway experience.
