Sono in pensione da otto anni. Abito in una piccola borgata nelle montagne del sud este della Francia abbastanza vicino al confine con il Piemonte. Sopra casa mia solo montagne. Il grosso borgo è di 3000 abitanti, 4 km giù nella vallata. Ho una macchina ma la prendo solo quando ne ho veramente bisogno. A casa mi piace fare gite, camminare, sci di montagna, o cercare funghi e piantine. Lavoro nel giardino che è sopratutto erbe e alberi. non sono molto a casa da tre anni perchè faccio un viaggio alla primavera e un altro a l'autunnO, di più ho tre nipotine (una di quattro anni le altre due due anni e mezzo), Abitano sul altro lato della Francia. Mi piace essere fuori. Non vado molto sul l'internet. Mi piace leggere in francese, italiano e adesso in inglese. Per andare in Grecia provo d'imparare la lingua!
Da qualche anni ho viaggiato da sola in Italia, Francia, nord Europa, eurobici 6 della Francia a l'Ungaria, due primavere in Scozia, sempre con la bici e la tenda. Parlo meglio l'italiano dal inglese.In tutti i viaggi mi piace fare un misto di bici poi di workaway o woofing per incontrare la gente e lavorare con quegli che vivono nel paese.
Posso fare diverse cose, sono ancora curiosa. Adesso ci ho diverse esperienze, nove posti in Italia, uno nelle isole Feroe, uno in Francia, due in Ungaria, uno in Cornovalia, tre in Scozia. Sono rimasta da una settimana a quattro.In Molise ci ritorno ogni autunno da quatro anni, Sicilia e Scozia sono anche ritornata nei stessi posti. Ho aiutato nelle orti, giardini, a cucinare, tagliare legna, preparare camere per ospiti, mungere capre e tante cose diverse, raccolte, preparare ordini, pulire camere per ospiti...
Conoscere gente mi lascia più ricordi che i borghi o città che visito.
Questa primavera sogno di andare in Grecia perchè a Palermo in un ostello ho incontrato una donna greccha molto simpatica che mi ha detto vieni in due anni faremo la bici insieme. E andro anche a trovarla. Devo farlo adesso d'invecchiare troppo, Senza la bici e il workaway il viaggio perde il suo profumo.

I'm retired for eight years. I live in a small hamlet in mountains in the south of Alps non far from Italian border. Above, there's only the mountain. The big village of 3000 inhabitants is 4 km under in the valley. I try to use my car only if it's necessary. At home, I like trekking, mountain ski, sometimes I like to fetch mushrooms, erbs,...to eat. I work in my garden, which is the most grass and trees. I like to be outside. I don't go often on the net. I like to read in french ,italian and now in english. To go in Grecia I begin to learn the Greek language.
I travel most alone for some years in Italy, France and once in the north Europe by bike with my tent, also followed the eurobike 6 from France to Hungary, last two sSpring I went to Scotland . I speak italian better than english. Each time I like to go on workaway or woofing to meet and work with people in the country where I travel. I can do a lot of different things. I'm still curious. I've now some experiences by woofing and workaway. Nine places in Italy and one in Faroes islands, one in France, two in Hungary, three in Scotland, where I stayed from one week to one month. Helping in gardening, cooking, catching stones, cleaning, painting, translating italian in english for non-italian speaking, cut wood, collect olives, herbs, apples, cleaning gardens, prepared rooms for guests in an agroturismo, milking goats,... and so many works hosts are asking for. I've learned a little to find food on nature.
Meeting with people leave me more impressive memories than towns I visit. This Spring I'd like to go in Grecia because I met a greek woman in an hostel in Palermo, and she said me come to Greece i two years and we'll bike together. I'll go an see her to.
I always travel by bike, arriving in the country or with the train or with a ferry. I like to mix both in a trip, bike and woofing. I must do that now before being too old, without bike and workaway, travels lose their perfume.

Mi hanno quasi sempre piaccuto i posti di workaway ed è stato lo stesso per la gente che mi ha accolto. Sono stata ringraziata, cosa che è un vero piacere perchè non si fa durante la vita di lavora o in famiglia. Provo di fare due viaggi al anno, primavera e autunno, inverno e estate a casa. Quando ci sono vi è aperto la porta per ospitalita.
Adesso sono anche una nonna di tre meravigliose nipotine, vivono lontano da me. La più grande a quattro anni, le due piccole sorelle gemelle due e mezzo.Mi chiamano Nonna, Civado abbastanza per aiutare.
Preferisco non portare pesi troppo pesanti e dormire in un letto per essere in forma per lavorare meglio. Quando sono in bici dormo sotto una tenda piccola.

I have always enjoyed my stays except the one in France! and I think so the hosts and even the one I didn't feel well. I remember quite more people I met during my trips than the monuments I visit. It's why now I don't imagine a trip without staying and working by people in the region I visit. I try to do two trips in the year, spring and autumn when it's possible with the sanitary situation. When I'm back home, my house could be open to you.. You can ask me more information if you need.
Now I'm also a grandma of three beautiful little girls but they live far from my home. They call me Nonna, the oldest is four, and her two twin sisters are 2 and a half.So I go often to help.
I prefer not to carry very heavy charges and sleep in a bed to rest better to work better because when I bike I sleep in my small tent.
