Hi hello,
I'm Danielle and since November I started my journey as a WorkAwayer.
Recently I felt the urge to get out of my normal hustle & bustle and to take steps to get closer to nature and the world. I'm happy I finally have the opportunity to travel the world in a different way through WorkAway. I'm very interested to start explore and develop new experiences in gardening, permaculture, farming, animal care, sustainability, renovating projects etc. Hopefully this will bring me enough experience to start my own gardening/permaculture/farming adventure in the future.
I have a background in physiotherapy (bachelor, not working), health sciences (master) and recently worked in IT as an application developer. With my background and overall interests in health I might be of help with projects that involve health, exercising or computer/IT support.
Also, due to my love for animals (I grew up with cats, dogs and rabbits) and the environment I eat vegetarian but open to be flexible if vegetarian food is a limited option due to cultural reasons for example. Food and cooking is something I love and very interested in learning new things (my vegetarian kimchi is a big winner). Due to my family background I also know a good amount of Indonesian and Japanese (vegetarian) dishes.
What else? I travel with my camera, ready to record all my beautiful moments during my traveling. If I can be of help with some photography projects then you can count on me.

At the moment I'm taking lessons in Japanse and recently obtained my N3 level in Japanese. I would love to also take up another language but undecided which one to pick. Something for the future.

- Gardening (weeding, preparing seedlings, mowing grass, pruning, preparing vegetable beds)
- Compost (separating organic waste, using vermi compost, dry compost and using bokashi)
