Hello friends!

We are Saskya & Mario, a 32 years old married couple and right now we are travelling full time with our self-made camper Buzz Lightyear. We spent 2 years building our DIY van on the public parking lot in front of our flat. After finishing the van, we decided to move into it and therefore we live 100% vanlife since Oktober 2023. We worked a lot to safe some money for a big journey to see the world, meet people and also find ourselves and our future way of living. Our trip started in January 2025 and there we are!

Mario is a hobby photo- and videographer. With his professional camera equipment, including a full-format digital SLR camera, a Gimbal, microphones, lightning and a Macbook with cutting software, he is able to not only make great photos, but also shoot and edit films. As he studied engineering in Germany and worked as an engineer for mass spectrometry for 4 years, he has solid skills in electronics and mechanics. He is a creative mind in the kitchen and loves to cook delicious meals for hungry friends.

Saskya loves to get in touch with people from different cultures. She speaks 5 different languages fluently (German, English, Spanish, Italian, French) due to several cultural exchanges in Mexico, France and South Africa. Saskya worked for many years in an international environment and knows how to handle stressful situations. She would like to learn crafting jewelry out of natural things and handworks, such as knitting and crochet to create beautiful things.

We love to try and learn new things, especially outdoor activities. Right now we take surf lessons in Agadir, Morocco. It would be a pleasure for us to really get into surfing, as for us it's the perfect sport to get in touch with nature.

And we also like animals! In the time we lived in a flat, we had two lovely cats, called Lilly and Sirius Black. Since we started vanlife they are living with Marios grandmother. On our journey we made a lot of animal friends, and are looking for more :-)

As we are outdoor people which come with a hands on mentality, we would like to bring in our skills into your projects. For our future life, we are thinking about starting an own little permaculture farm, therefore we would love to learn a lot about sustainable agriculture and building techniques.

We love to hike and practice different sports like running, yoga and fitness. At the moment we are taking surf lessons in Morocco.
Mario likes to go fishing and Saskya likes dancing (Salsa).
