Hi there,
I'm Sylvi. I'm half Slovakian and half German and therefore speak both languages and English fluently. Back at home I'm a social worker (mainly kids and young adults) and work in hospitality (bars, restaurants, hotels, cafés). When I'm not working I obviously love to dance, like meeting new people, travel to new places, get to know cultures and languages. I'm always looking for new challenges and DIY ideas. For me traveling is all about the people I meet and experiences I make. I've been already traveling for a year in Australia and half a year through Asia and loved all of it. The work and the traveling. Right now I started a year of traveling through South and Latin America and I'd love to make the most of it and find some nice places to work-stay-visit and explore.
My goals for this part of the continent? --> learn Spanish, dance dance dance, scuba dive, try surfing and kitesurfing, try all the local food and meet awesome people

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm a Social worker. Therefore I'm open minded, always trying to help people and I love to talk everyone. It seems easy for me to get a conversation going and find a topic to talk about.
I'm fluent in English, German, Slovakian, therefore Czech and have little knowledge in French and Spanish.
I use to work in bars, cafés, concerts, hotel restaurants so this is something I could help with.
On the other hand I love to try new DIY ideas and am good in working with wood and building simple things. Back at home my mom's got a big garden and I use to help her a lot and my uncle in his vineyard. For a year I was sort of a guide leading groups of kids through the forest, hiking, climbing, sleeping outside and doing some team work tasks.
What I did in Asia and Australia was mainly farmwork (apples, grapes, strawberrys, peaches), helping with animals, cooking and baking and looking after kids. I once ran a hostel for two weeks as well as the owner wanted to go on holiday and left it with a friend and me.
All in all I tried a lot of things and am open to near to everything as long as I would still be able to have a look around and get to know the country as well - I'm happy to help.
