¡Hola! Soy Carla, una chica catalana a punto de embarcar en una emocionante aventura en Marruecos e India. El año pasado estuve viajando por Colombia y Centroamerica. Cuando volví a Menorca, la isla dónde vivo, para trabajar, me di cuenta de que seguía teniendo muchas ganas de viajar como lo había hecho por Centroamérica, siendo voluntaria y participando en proyectos lindos.

He estado trabajando en una escuela de Windsurf durante la temporada y ahora estoy lista para viajar. Mi primer destino es Marruecos, he oído maravillas sobre este país y muchos amigos me lo han recomendado. Esta será mi primera parada en mi aventura. Tras pasar las navidades en familia, me dirigiré a India, y aún no sé cuál será el próximo destino.

Para mí, es muy importante viajar conscientemente, intentando ser respetuosa con el mundo y las personas que encuentre durante mis viajes, y sobre todo, aportar lo que pueda a las comunidades que visite. Esta es una de las razones por las que escogí Workaway; es una buena manera de estar en sintonía con mis valores mientras viajo, contribuyendo a proyectos locales y, al mismo tiempo, aprendiendo de ellos.

Amo la naturaleza y todo tipo de deportes. Aunque estoy más familiarizada con los deportes de montaña, también tengo algo de experiencia con deportes acuáticos; vivo y trabajo en Menorca , una isla en España donde se practican muchos deportes de vela.

Soy una chica activa, me encanta descubrir cosas nuevas, formas diferentes de vivir y culturas diversas. Estoy muy emocionada y contenta de empezar este trayecto, y me esforzaré por ser respetuosa con las personas y el entorno que serán mi hogar durante este viaje.

Hello! I'm Carla, a Catalan girl about to embark on an exciting adventure in Morocco and India. Last year, I was traveling through Colombia and Central America. When I returned to Menorca, the island where I live, to work, I realized that I still had a strong desire to travel as I had done in Central America, volunteering and participating in beautiful projects.

I've been working at a Windsurf school during the season, and now I'm ready to travel again. My first destination is Morocco; I've heard amazing things about this country, and many friends have recommended it to me. This will be my first stop on my adventure. After spending Christmas with my family, I will head to India, and I still don't know what the next destination will be.

For me, it's very important to travel consciously, trying to be respectful to the world and the people I meet during my travels, and above all, to contribute to the communities I visit as much as I can. That's one of the reasons why I chose Workaway; it's a great way to align with my values while traveling, contributing to local projects, and at the same time, learning from them.

I love nature and all kinds of sports. Although I'm more familiar with mountain sports, I also have some experience with water sports; I live and work in Menorca, an island in Spain where many sailing sports are practiced.

I'm an active girl, and I love discovering new things, different ways of living, and diverse cultures. I'm very excited and happy to start this journey, and I will strive to be respectful to the people and the environment that will be my home during this trip.

I am very eager to learn about gardening, bioconstruction, farming, and taking care of animals, as well as everything related to ecological projects in nature. I am ready to give my best to contribute; I don't mind getting dirty, working with my hands, or doing physical work.
