Hi! I'm Cora from Canada (originally Saskatoon although I currently live in Victoria).

I love to travel and be physically active - particularly (rather mediocre) tennis, trail running, and ballet. I have a background in business/finance and work in the organic/better-for-you food sector. I grew up playing classical piano and taking art and dance lessons so I have a bit of an artistic side as well.

My first experience with Workaway was when I quit my first job to walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain and spent the rest of the year with lovely Workaway hosts in a variety of settings in Sri Lanka, China, and Taiwan. Having mellowed since those first Workaways many years' ago and recently moved to Vancouver Island, I am interested in learning about and contributing to eco-focused farms/gardens on the island. I would be looking to take 1-2 weeks off work to be a workawayer. My favourite type of work involves being outside in the sunshine, but am open to a variety of physical work (and any side projects if I can be helpful from an accounting/finance perspective!)

Having lived with roommates/in group settings all my life, I am very conscientious to others' needs and very easy to get along with. I look forward to getting to know you better!
