Hii there, nice to meet you!
I´m Clara, an enthusiastic, cordial and open person, eager to start a new adventure. After my voluntary year in a cheese dairy and on an organic farm, I long for the wide world, many new experiences and other ways of life. Through workaway I was able to participate in the olive harvest and the saffron harvest, as well as help a small farm with the most different animals and repairs and work with llamas and camels. And I'm even more excited to see what farms and jobs will be added! :)
Scouting and exploring nature are my passions. I generally love trying new things and meeting new people. When i´m not in the cheese´s ripening room, I like tending to the plants and herbs in the garden at home. I really enjoy watching the plants thrive and processing the fruits. I live in a totally small village with meadows and forest around our house, with my family(big and small siblings) and of course the cats and horses i´m not allowed to forget.
In general, i´m a nature, animal and travel lover, who like to explore new places and meet different cultures! I deeply enjoy DIY, creating and building, painting and find solutions with what I have at my fingertips.
I can´t wait to learn new things, improve my skills and meet new lovely people out in this wonderful world!

Was könntest du arbeiten?
Since 6 years I am with the Scouts and now also for 2 years lead a group with the JuLeiCa (training to become a group leader). With the children I go hiking, camping and adventure in different countries. This requires a responsible and social personality. I am open to help in this area as well.
Besides, I've had animals all my life around me, pets I've had all that you can have, cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, rabbits, chickens, even a bull we once had. Because of my volunteer year, I did on a farm, I also have experience with cows and pigs. Also general farm work, which have to do with repairing, painting etc. are my everyday life. So I am a very multi-experienced person and would be happy to work with animals!
As already mentioned, I have a large garden at home with herbs, flowers and fruits that also need your affection and care. I like to make jam, syrup and cough syrup with them. It's a great balance to the barn and cheese work and I love to sit between the flowers in the morning with my jam bread. Here I would be very happy to contribute my experience.
Now to my language skills, my mother tongue is German, and I also speak English for many years. I also studied French as a second foreign language at school.
All in all, I am a curious person who is open to any kind of work and I am also very excited to learn new things. Well and I´m not afraid to get my hands dirty.

You can easily inspire me with all sorts of things/hobbies. But I especially like to read books and bake. The sound of a horse's hoof-tracking belong to my childhood and still do when I ride with our horses in nature:)

ich hatte die wohl aufregensten und sonnigsten 2 Wochen bei euch auf dem Hof. Mit eurer Offenheit und Fröhlichkeit habt ihr mein aller erstes Workaway zu einer ganz besonderen Erinnerung gemacht.
