I'm Claire, a free-spirited and adventurous 21-year-old German-American.
Before starting med school in fall of 2024, I would love to see more of our beautiful planet. Life is simply too short to be spent in one place, isn't it?
Many different things light me up - nature, philosophy, Bethany Hamilton, community, any form of art, dogs, exploring, book stores, the ocean, Anson Seabra, interesting conversations with genuine people, sunsets, late night drives, silence, fairy lights, museums, pizza for breakfast, thrift shopping, Claire Wineland, to-do lists, dance parties in the kitchen, looking up at the sky, foxes, Matt Haig, lying in the summer rain and gratitude for the little wonders of life.
I hold dedication, reliability, authenticity, respect, courage, resilience and faith in high regard. Belonging, purpose, freedom and connection lie at my core. I make a perpetual effort to step outside my comfort zone, face my fears, show vulnerability, embrace the unknown, fall in love with possibility and follow my heart.

As the oldest of five (one sister, one brother and two very active collies) I am a natural leader, dedicated supporter, patient shoulder and stable anker. Growing up amidst lively, loving chaos shaped my confidence, creativity, courage and love of adventure. 14 years of dancing (ballet, tap dance, contemporary dance, jazz dance) taught me discipline, independence, ambition, consistency and self-expression. Six years of volunteer work in youth group leadership fostered patience, compassion, dependability and a deep love of true community.
I am an enthusiastic learner and look forward to all that I still have left to be taught!🌻
