Beschreibung

I am 25 years old from the UK. I studied Human Geography and Spanish at the University of Leeds. I am a Spanish and French secondary school teacher and have quit after 3 years to travel and explore South America. I intend to use my language skills and learn about the beautiful places and cultures South America has to offer. I spent a year abroad living in Galicia teaching english in two primary schools. I have a twin brother and two older sisters, with one dog and two cats, so I am used to a big family:). I am a very proactive person and love getting involved and meeting new people and learning more about their culture, the food and the language of new places. I am very creative and also love the outdoors, with an interest in photography, sports, yoga, music and I love cooking and baking.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am fluent in English and have experience teaching the language, in terms of pronounciation and grammar. I have experience with younger children so would be perfect to help look after them too. I worked in a tree top / zipwire camp in Summer 2020, where I had to instruct both adults and children and lead groups (often groups of 15) and take responsibility for their safety and welfare, where I gave gained skills such as confidence and being in charge. I would say I am very organised and a sociable young adult who loves to get involved and make the most of every opportunity given to me.

Was noch ...

My experience being abroad, particularly living in Galicia has opened my eyes to new experiences and my love for travelling and how fascinating it can be to meet new people through experiences like these! Working as a secondary school teaching for 3 years has also allowed me to gain invaluable skills and organisation and team work.
