Hello my name is Céline, nice to meet you :) !
I am 27 years old and I come from France - I have been travelling since I was small as my mother comes from Malaysia. I have studied geography and international development in the UK and I have done my master's degree in Switzerland in Development Studies. In 2018, I have travelled on my own to Sri Lanka and New Zealand which was an amazing experience for self-discovery, connecting with people and nature :)
I am passionate about ocean conservation and I have worked with different NGOs in France (Ocean As Common) as well as with international organisations (United Nations, WWF, and the International Union for the Conservation of Nature). Meeting people and travelling contributed in expanding my knowledge about conservation and the importance of it. My professionnal and personal experiences have deepened by motivation to work in this area in understanding the importance of people and the conservation of nature.
I have basic spanish, fluent french and english. I am currently learning spanish and I will be in a school language for a month in Costa Rica before volunteering. The objective of this trip for me is to progress in spanish and to work in conservation projects - understanding the field and contribute in preserving the nature. That is why, I would love to contribute in one of your conservation projects !
I am a very curious person and always ready for new challenges ! On my free time I love hiking, spending time in nature, sunsets/sunrise, enjoy time with friends and discover new things.
