I come from Mexico. But I'm currently living in Belgium, studying a preparatory program for a Master in Physiotherapy. I'm looking for a summer workaway to leave the study routine and learn new skills

Beschreibung

Hello! My name is Bernardo, I come from Mexico but I'm currently studying a preparatory program for a Master in Physiotherapy in Leuven. I will have a couple of months off for the summer and I would like to take advantage to discover new places, learn new skills unrelated to my career and change the routine.

I'm a hard worker and enjoy learning new things. I like spending time in nature and with animals. I love doing sports like running, swimming, climbing. I also enjoy reading and learning new languages.

I few years ago I spent a summer in a couple of farms doing permaculture, garden work and building work. I really enjoyed my time there, even though I haven't done something like that since then. And I would love to do it again.

I consider myself responsible, curious and a fast learner. I believe I would be a person you could count on!

Further ahead for my master degree I will do clinical practices in Flanders, for that reason I am interested in improving my Dutch. I also really like Italian and although I haven't studied it I would really like to learn it.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm a physiotherapist from Mexico, my working experience has mostly been in that field, and I'm currently studying my master in Leuven.
A few years ago I had a WWOOFing experience in France, in two different farms. My tasks were mainly gardening, permaculture and some building projects. I had a great time and would love to do it again.
I can adapt to many different types of work and love new experiences. I worked for a summer in a camp for people with intelectual dissabilities in the state of New York, during that time as a camp counselor I helped my campers with their activities of daily living but also in their participation of camp activities.
I love learning languages, I speak Spanish as my mother tongue, but I also speak English, French, a bit of German and I'm currently learning Dutch. I would also love to learn Italian.
