Hi! I'm Rong from Taiwan. I recently got my France Working Holiday Visa, and I’m excited to begin a new chapter in France. I’ve always been drawn to music and art, I play drums and practice ballet, and I love how movement and rhythm can say things words can’t. I’m especially into indie music, and I’m always happy to share artists I love or discover new ones from others.

I also feel very connected to nature and animals, so I’m really looking forward to exploring the French countryside.

I’m still figuring out the direction I want to take in life, but I’m curious, open-minded, and always eager to learn from new people and new environments. I try to live gently, stay grounded, and grow a little more every day.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I can speak four languages (English, Mandarin, Japanese, and Taiwanese), and I’ve been working at an international music company as a marketing executive for almost two and a half years. I also have five years of part-time experience at live music venues, including ticketing, reception, cleaning, bartending, and some basic stage work. I occasionally work at music festivals during my free time as well, taking on roles such as artist team member, backstage manager, receptionist, and more.

I’m good at household duties like washing dishes, cleaning, and other daily tasks. I don’t have much experience in gardening or farming, but I’d love to learn!

Was noch ...

My main motivation for volunteering is to learn about French culture and to gain opportunities to interact with people from different countries. I also want to try different types of work to explore my potential and broaden my experience. Since it will be my first time in Europe, I believe volunteering is the best way to immerse myself in a new environment and learn from people with diverse cultural backgrounds.
