Beschreibung

I was a SuperStar Airbnb Host in Malibu until my home burned down. Now, I want to spend a year doing what I like best - traveling, learning languages, creating social media content, doing art, and immersing myself in local life. I'm a published travel writer/photographer who 'gets' social media. I love cooking and being part of a family or a team. For several years, I hosted Woofers (farm volunteers) on my organic farm so I know what the deal is. Personally, I find volunteering in exchange for room/board is a great way to integrate into a foreign lifestyle and provide a purpose. I've lived in 4 continents and know how to adapt; I like to work and know how to enjoy myself. I enjoy entertaining children and learning from them. I hope I can be part of your team because I'm pretty sure we're going to have a great experience!

Mi carrera fue en comunicaciones de marketing para empresas de informática. Pude retirarme temprano y me concentré en mi pasión, la fotografía de Natureleza y Estilo. Publiqué dos libros que ganaron muchos premios sobre campamentos de safari en África llamados 'Safari Chic' y 'Swahili Chic'. Estos libros me inspiraron a lanzar mi propio retiro de hospitalidad en California, un AirBnB que operé hasta que un incendio salvaje se lo quemó todo. (Con AirBnB tengo más de 1,500 'reviews' de 5 estrellas por mi hospitalidad y coçina). Luego regresé a África, y me convertí en guía de safari, pero el Pandemico acabó con eso. Ahora administro mis propiedade de AirBnB en New York en una maneira lo que me permite viajar por el mundo como voluntario para compartir mis habilidades en marketing, fotografía, escritura y hospitalidad, así como mis habilidades lingüísticas. (Hablo Ingles, Español, Françes y Portugûez. ) He sido voluntario en Kenia, Marruecos, Costa Rica y Panamá, creando contenido para redes sociales y enseñando inglés. Me encanta hacer fotos y escribir sobre mis aventuras, aprender idiomas, hacer nuevos amigos, cocinar y ayudar a los otros a realizar sus sueños.

J'ai fait carrière dans la communication marketing pour des entreprises informatiques. J'ai eu la chance de prendre une retraite anticipée et je me suis concentré sur mes passions, la nature et la photographie de voyage. J'ai publié deux livres qui ont remporté de nombreux prix sur les camps de safari en Afrique, 'Safari Chic' et 'Swahili Chic'. Ces livres m'ont inspiré pour lancer ma propre retraite d'hospitalité en Californie, un AirBnB que j'ai dirigé jusqu'à ce qu'un incendie de forêt ait tout brûlé. (Avec AirBnB, j'ai plus de 1 500 avis 5 étoiles pour mon hospitalité et mon cozine.) Je suis ensuite retourné en Afrique et je suis devenu guide touristique de safari, mais la pandémie a mis fin à cela. Je gère maintenant mes nouvelles propriétés Airbnb d'une manière qui me permet de parcourir le monde en tant que bénévole pour partager mes compétences en marketing, photographie, écriture et hôtellerie ainsi que mes compétences linguistiques. J'ai fait du bénévolat au Kenya, au Maroc, au Costa Rica et au Panama, créant du contenu sur les réseaux sociaux et enseignant l'anglais. J'adore écrire sur mes aventures, apprendre des langues, me faire de nouveaux amis, cuisiner et aider les autres à réaliser leurs rêves.

I'm a great AirBnB host and cook. I know how to promote a lodge/AirBnB/safari camp via social media as I'm a published writer/photographer of interior decor of eco-retreats. I love learning languages, tackling a project and interacting with people. I've hosted a lot of volunteers myself, so I know what hosts are looking for. I have my own art/photo projects so I'm never bored, but I understand your needs always come first.
