Looking for childcare or school positions, farmstays, or wildlife care/rehabilitaion. But I'm open to any adventures or learning experience. I've always wanted to learn scuba diving and surfing.

Beschreibung

planning to be in India for the next month or so, but im open to staying longer to go to Rajasthan. I'm interested in going to nepal, bali, italy, france, slovenia, etc
i just love to experience new ways of life and the beauty of places where people are free from their minds
Im always happy to be around kids, getting to be a kid with them. I make lots of art in different ways, i love to draw houses and people and nature, i can make videos, take pictures, work with animals, garden, write. i would love to keep doing yoga and meditation with others

i graduated from a university in Maine with a bachelors degree in biology
i also just finished a 200hour YTT in Mysore, India

work experience:
preschool lead teacher
June 2023-march 2024
-floated around the preschool, as a substitute teacher in all the rooms helping in the kitchen, helping for up the building after the roof callapsed during a rain storm
-infant room, toddler rooms, pre-k, and preschool

October 2024-may 2025
-took care of and worked on goals with children with autism
-created, assessed, assisted with, and documented their progress on goals relating to community integration, emotional development, social interactions, and physical health

Outdoor educator for the Spring SEA program at Schoodic Institute
April 2025-June 2025
-gave programs to middle school students from around the US about topics like forest diversity, marine investigations (tide pooling), geology, weather science, and photojournalism
-the campus was a part of Acadia National Park on the Schoodic side in Winter harbor, ME

Outdoor educator at Blueberry Cove summer camp
june 2025-august 2025
-took care of a cabin of 10 girls aged 8-12 throughout the summer. the girls would spend 1 or 2 weeks overnight
-supported every child physically, emotionally, and socially
-worked in day camp with the 5-6 year olds for two weeks , leading games and lesson plans
-led a 2 hour morning ecology programs each day where we taught kids how to do things like make pine needle pillows, make lavender cookies, make herbal teas, plant flowers, harvest vegetables, pickle different vegetables
-in programs we would make earrings, draw things in nature, make beach sculptures, go canoeing and kayaking, make fairy houses, make forts from wood and leaves, go crabbing, paint a cabin, go swimming, played field games like capture the flag, soccer, dodgeball

travel:
spent a month in spain during the summer of my sophomore year of high school. I stayed with a host family and attended a school and learned about Spanish culture, history, and language
I spent two weeks traveling along the northern coast of Colombia in January 2023
I came to india in the beginning of September 2025 and will be staying until the end of october.
I hope to backpack Europe after this India trip

volunteering
I volunteered at a community garden for two years during the summer and spring. I worked with a woman named Monique who taught me how to plant, weed, harvest, and upkeep the garden of vegetables and flowers. I helped with the compost bins as well. We planted hundreds of onions, garlic, pumpkins, flowers, some berries.

At the summer camp, i led an ecology program with the 10-12 year old kids, and we spent a lot of time volunteering in the camp garden. We helped to grow and harvest peas, carrots, sunflowers, and cabbage.
