Hey there, my name is Annika I am 20 years old and from Munich in Germany.
I graduated from High School and decided to take a gap year and discover the beautiful sunny New Zealand. I am eager to meet new people and gain new experiences.
I would love to learn more about your culture and am really motivated to help you with your daily tasks.
I grew up with a lot of animals (cats, dogs and horses). Caring for your animal would be a lovely task. Since I ride for many years I am very experienced with riding.
Additional to that I cared for kids and babys for many years at a kids holiday programm and jobbt as babysitters.
I graduated with an B2 level in English and speak German as my native language.
During my time in Iceland I tried to learn some iclandic phrases.
I would love to improve my English skills :)

I am so exicted to help with any kind of work and learn more about you and your culture!
About Hannah:

Heyyy,
my name is Hannah I am 19 years old. I currently live near Hannover. I did my Abitur this year and am now looking forward to broaden my horizon by making new acquaintances and learning about the country and culture. If everything works as planned I would like to study Psychology in 2024. During my education, I did several jobs. I started babysitting a nine-month-old girl. Then I started working in a bakery in 2021 where I worked approximately for a year. During this time I learned a lot about dealing with customers, working under pressure, and working as a part of a team. In the end, I opened/closed the bakery independently and set up everything for the next day. After my A Levels I started to work at a seasonal business this spring.
I worked in different positions. I sold the products, did basic food preparations, cleaned the dishes, and talked to customs a lot. I am really interested in swimming and climbing and often go hiking during the holiday. I love reading and good conversations and am really interested in learning new things. I absolutely love animals. I own a dog so you can always find me outside :)

Riding experience:
I also have been riding horses since I was 5 years old but stopped this year. the most experience I got with the English riding style except for some riding outs on Icelandic horses during the holidays.

I am looking forward to getting to know you and help with any kind of work. Furthermore I enjoy learning new things so if I am not familiar with any kind of work I would love to learn it!

About Annika:
Hey there,
my name is Annika I am 20 years old and live in the beautiful town of Munich, Germany.
Some short information about my vita. I graduated in 2022 from high school and since then I wanted to give myself a break before I will study molecular medicine.
Last year a got the chance to travel around Middle and eastern Europe with my friends by train (Interrail), I absolutely loved it! The new cultures and people we met it was just incredible.
After a short time at home where I worked in the service in a nice little cafe and on the reception of a hairdresser, I traveled to Iceland to work at two farms for almost half a year.
The work with different animals, mostly horses, and sheep was amazing. I could help the sheep borning lambs, feed, and work with young horses as well I helped to manage busy days with tourists in the guest house.
I worked for almost 4 months on a farm with a guest house, so I learned how to clean and cook for the guests. Our team cleaned the house every two days, cooked every dinner, and served breakfast and lunch. Additional to this I gained experience through my jobs in the service and at the reception.
I know how to speak with guests or customers, and always try to give them a great time during the visit.

Riding experience:
I would describe myself as an experienced rider since I have been riding for almost 15 years. Sadly we have no own horse at home but that gave me the possibility to ride different horses and learn how to cope with different personalities. Especially I have experience with Icelandic horses but also with English riding.
I hadn't the chance to ride in the Western style but would love to learn that too.

Childcare experience:
For many years I have done babysitting. I cared for 3 boys (11 and 8) at least twice per month. But also got care experience due to my volunteering at a kids' holiday program called LILALU and as a tutor at my school
