Beschreibung
My name is Annemiek, I am living in Amsterdam. Born on a farm in the middle of the Netherlands. Did my high school, studied some years at a School of Social Work and finally graduate at the School for Performing Arts in Amsterdam.
During and after my studies I have been doing al kinds of jobs, I was a newspapers-girl, babysitter, strawberry-picker, dishwasher, waitress, housekeper, social worker, actress, doing odd jobs and much more.
In 1991 I left the Netherlands and went to Mexico. I have been working for 10 years as a tourguide in Central America and Cuba.
Back in the Netherlands, I was a barkeeper for a few years before I started working as cityguide for foreigners in Amsterdam and working in a callcentre for roadside assistance.
I volunteer as a worker on theaterfestivals , as a buddy for people with all kind problems, or just helping people out with wathever.
Since a couple of years I have an allotment garden where I am growing flowers and vegetables and where I can escape citylive.
I am an optimistic and enthusiastic person, a good and responsable worker.
I am not materialistic, I enjoy the beauty and simple things in live.
Taking care of each other, of our environment and the planet that is what counts for me. I always try to have an open heart and mind, a smile on the face, appreciate what is and be willing to learn, teach and help.
