Hello / Bonjour / Adaab / Ahoj! My name is Adelaide and I cannot imagine my life without travel and language exchange. I am from New York and have studied abroad in France, Czechia, and India. I am currently working as a French tutor and in the service industry but will soon enough be a librarian! I will start my Master's of Library Science in August 2023 and would love to go around the world with Workaway to practice my langauges and learn some new ones before my next phase of studies begins.
I love learning and teaching langauges. My hobbies include distance running, synchronized swimming, writing and recording music, and having adventures with friends.
FOR MALE HOSTS: Do NOT expect anything sexual. I've never had issues with Workaway but I once had a catastrophically predatory experience using Couchsurf. I will report any inappropriate behavior so please just be a decent human!!

I have some farming skills which I learned while working in a local apple tree nursery and vegetable farm. I love working hard outdoors and am not afraid of a bit of mud. I would like to learn more about sustainable farming and growing all sorts of foods.
From my experience working in the music recording industry, I have some knowlede of electrical systems, particularly sound equipment. I am happy to work with my hands and learn more about this field. I have strong skills in photography, video, and recording hardware and software.
Most of all, I love language exchange. I have taught English and French in both formal and informal settings and would love to learn as many languages as possible.
