Beschreibung

Hi, I'm a 23 years old french student in urban planning who's taking a gap year. I really wanted to disconnect from my stressful daily life by travelling and discovering new people, landscapes and cultures. I'm quiet used to travel alone, since I moved to Canada for my studies in 2023.

I'm curious, open minded and adventurous. I try my best to reduce my impact on the planet : eat vegetarian, reduce the use of air plane when I can, only buy second hand clothes, ... I also like hiking, photography, cooking.

Since I started travelling (in sept 2025), I worked 2 months in a farm in Norway (which I reached by bus only), and 2 weeks in a dog shelter in Thailand. My last workaway takes place in a kangaroo shelter in Australia (as you can see, I love animals). After that, I need to go back to France for professionnal reasons, but I wish I can find another volunteer experience for the summer 2026.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

For 2 years I've been vice-president of an environmental non profit. I organized events, managed a team and created content for social media.

I also worked twice in a tourist office as a summer job, so I know how to do guided tour.

Thanks to Workaway, I worked in a farm in Norway : I was gardening, doing small house maintenance work (painting, sanding furnitures, ...) and cooking (goat cheese, sterelized food, fermented food). Then I worked in a dog shelter in Thailand. The job was mainly about cleaning the areas, taking care of the disabled dogs, walking the dogs, ...

In general I'm very autonomous and I learn fast. I'm dedicated in my work which I like to do properly.
