Hi! I’m Alma, a cheerful and caring 25-year old from Sweden who loves being around both children and animals. I grew up in the countryside and now live in Stockholm, planning my first ever trip to Australia, I'm looking forward to spending 2 months here (Jan-Feb) with a welcoming family farm where I can help with everyday life! :)

I have experience working as a nanny, childcare assistant and personal assistant, and I enjoy creating a fun, safe and positive atmosphere for kids. I’m also passionate about gardening, enjoy cooking (I’m vegetarian but happy to prepare meat for others), and would love to help out with the garden/farm, pets, the home and outdoor tasks. I love animals but can unfortunately not have any of my own, so I would love to help out with animal care :)

I’m social and open-minded and love to meet new people. I’d be happy to join activities, lend a helping hand wherever needed, and contribute with positivity and energy! :) I love listening to 80s rock music, play cardgames/boardgames and be in nature! I spend a lot of time knitting + crocheing and have a dream to learn playing harmonica!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have a wide range of experience working with both people and practical tasks. I’ve worked as a nanny, childcare assistant and personal assistant, which has taught me to be patient, responsible and caring. I really enjoy spending time with children, supporting their creativity and helping them feel safe and happy! :)

I also have experience in hospitality as a waitress, which made me adaptable, service-minded and good at working in a team. In my current job as a UX/UI designer I use my creativity and problem-solving skills every day – qualities I also bring to practical tasks.

Gardening is one of my passions. Every summer I grow vegetables, herbs and flowers on my balcony, and I would love to take care of plants and outdoor spaces. I’m also very comfortable around animals and would be happy to help with feeding, walking and general care!

I’m organized, calm and reliable, but also social and positive, which makes it easy for me to fit into new environments. I’m always happy to learn new skills and take on different kinds of tasks!

Was noch ...

When I’m not working you’ll probably find me playing board games (I love card games!), singing along to 80’s rock, or spending time with friends and family. My life motto is “you never regret a swim” – I’m happiest when I get to jump into the water. I also have a soft spot for cow, pigs and dogs… they just make me smile every time!
