🌍 Adventurous Souls Seeking Meaningful Connections and Experiences in Asia and South America! 🌏

Hey there, we are Ales and Bara from the Czech Republic in the❤️of Europe, an unstoppable duo on a mission to explore the world's beautiful landscapes and diverse cultures.

✨ We believe in the power of travel to create deep connections and make a positive impact along the way. That's why we've chosen to go on a backpacking adventure that goes beyond the ordinary. ✨

We have already tried volunteering during our trip to Costa Rica which we truly enjoyed. We helped locals in primary forest, and we also volunteered at scientific station protecting sea turtles and other wild animals. Now we are eager to volunteer again through Workaway. Our goal is not only to visit countries and explore the beautiful nature and amazing historical sights, but also get to know the local people and their culture.

We are very outgoing yet hard working people who would love to learn new skills as well as share those we possess.

We are also able to volunteer as English teachers. With Ales's teaching experience and three years stay in the UK, and Bara's year-long stay in the US, we have a lot of experience with English. We understand the importance of English knowledge in today’s world so we would be happy to help to create more opportunities and empowerment to those who want to learn the language. We are always happy to learn the basics of local language while traveling.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

💁‍♀️Barbora’s skills: I am not afraid of any hard work since I have spent 18 years in Scout group. I organized camps for kids in nature for over three weeks where I learnt useful skills from cutting woods in the forest to building constructions to live in (e.g., teepees, kitchen). Thanks to scouting and babysitting I am also used to work with children of any age. Since I have spent 1 year in the United States, I am fluent in English, I also have basics in French and Russian. I also love music and playing multiple instruments, I have been teaching guitar for couple of years. I have a master’s degree in journalism.

💁‍♂️Ales‘s skills: I am open to any kind of volunteering. My previous work has been varied, between supermarket, retail work, work at construction and in the restaurant. I have master degree in Economics and currently I work in an IT company. I have lived abroad for several years during which I have developed passion for languages – therefore I speak fluently English, German (both C1 certificates) and I have basics of Spanish and even Finnish. I also used to teach English in a language school. I love playing music, mostly guitar or piano. I am also eager to learn new skills as I am very open-minded person.

Was noch ...

We both share a love for music, playing instruments like the guitar, piano, saxophone, and ukulele. Reading, socializing, and traveling are among our interests, as we enjoy exploring nature, wildlife, and trying new sports. Additionally, we find joy in playing board and card games, and embracing creativity in “do it yourself” projects. Our lives are enriched by these diverse passions, connecting us to others and the world around us.
