Hello everyone! My name is Agustina, but you can call me Agus. I´m 21 years old and i´m from Uruguay. Uruguay is a small country in South America, between Argentina and Brazil, making my native language Spanish. I also speak english and consider to be very good at it, so comunicating in this language wouldn´t be a problem.

I´ll be travelling to Europe starting January 2024 (no definitive return date) and taking a break from my university studies. At first i´ll be in Spain but i´m open and willing to go to other countries. I have EU passport.

Like most people, what fills me most with joy is being with my family and friends, although I enjoy spending time with myself a lot. Food and travelling brings me happiness too.
Although I like to take a nap and sleep a lot, I am an active person who is always looking for something new to do and willing to try new things. I enjoy sports and find outdoor activities entertaining (although I also enjoy spending time at home). As I was growing up, I participated in various sports such as artistic gymnastics, tennis, swimming, basketball, and handball. I played handball for several years, and even though I no longer practice it, it holds a very special place in my heart.
I have also been part of a volunteer group in my city for some years in which we helped people with economic problems to rebuild their homes, cook and serve them food, and give them company. An experience that helped me value what we sometimes take for granted.

I have decided to take this trip to get to know myself and be able to decipher many enigmas of my life. As well as seeing life from other points of view This is because I am disoriented as to my future, what I like and what I don't. Also i been always interested in discovering new and different culutres and people, try different food and learn new languages.

As I said before, I love food and I also love cooking. It is a way to unwind.

I´m a very good listener, and always willing to help and give advice. I am a person who cares about others and very dedicated to what I set out to do and achieve.
I can adapt very easily to other customs and routines, I take care of other people's things and mine, and I am neat and clean.

Mi nombre es Agustina, pero pueden llamarme Agus. Tengo 21 años y soy de Uruguay, un pequeño país en Sudamérica, ubicado entre Argentina y Brasil, lo que hace que mi lengua materna sea el español. También hablo inglés y me considero bastante buena en ello, así que comunicarme en este idioma no sería un problema.

Voy a viajar a Europa a partir de enero de 2024 (sin fecha de regreso definitiva) y tomaré un descanso de mis estudios universitarios. Al principio estaré en España, pero estoy abierta y dispuesta a ir a otros países. Tengo pasaporte de la Unión Europea.

Como a la mayoría de las personas, lo que más me llena de alegría es estar con mi familia y amigos, aunque también disfruto mucho pasar tiempo sola. La comida y viajar me traen felicidad. Aunque me gusta tomar una siesta y dormir mucho, soy una persona activa que siempre está buscando algo nuevo para hacer y dispuesta a probar cosas nuevas. Me gustan los deportes y me divierten los planes afuera (auqneu disfruto pasar tiempo en casa). Mientras fui creciendo hice muchos deportes como gimnasia artistica, tenis, natación, basketball y handball; éste ultimo lo jugue por varios años y aunque ya no lo practico tiene un lugar muy especial en mi.

Tambien he sido parte por algunos años de un grupo de voluntariado de mi ciudad en la que ayudabamos a personas con problemas economicos a reconstruir sus casas, a cocinarles y sevurles la comida, darles compañia. Experiencia que me ha ayudado a valor lo que a veces damos por sentado.

He decidido emprender este viaje para conocerme a mí misma y poder descifrar muchos enigmas de mi vida. Así como ver la vida desde otros puntos de vista. Esto se debe a que estoy desorientada respecto a mi futuro, lo que me gusta y lo que no. También siempre he tenido interés en descubrir nuevas y diferentes culturas y personas, probar diferentes comidas y aprender nuevos idiomas.

Como dije antes, me encanta la comida y también disfruto cocinando. Es una forma de relajarme y recientemente descubrí que es mi lenguaje de amor. Soy muy buena escuchando y siempre dispuesta a ayudar y dar consejos. Me preocupo por los demás y soy muy dedicada a lo que me propongo hacer y lograr.
Puedo adaptarme fácilmente a otras costumbres y rutinas, cuido las cosas de los demás y las mías, y soy ordenada y limpia.

I´ve always been a fan of languages. I speak Spanish as my first language and I have studied English since I was 5 years old. I have taken international English exams from Cambridge passing the level C1 advanced. I'm not sure how ideal it might be for me to teach English, but I'm willing to interact in English if the other person wants it. I am interested in learning any language (In the future I want to be multilingual) But to start, it would be great to learn Italian or German.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am from a city where there are no universities and in order to study I had to move to the capital of Uruguay where I live with one of my brothers. It´s because of this that i´ve learn to cook for me and for my brother. I consider that most of what I cook, whether salty or sweet, is quite delicious. I´m not a fan of desserts but i really enjoy cooking meals. I also love to try others countries traditional food and exchange culinary knowledge. So working in the kitchen wouldn´t be a problem to me. (I´m not profesional).
I am constant with order and cleanliness, so i could help in this area as well.
I love being in contact with people, interact with them, help them.
I worked in the cash register at my stepfather's business for a few weeks, as a favor, and i really enjoy it.
Even though I am studying a degree in communication, lodging and tourism have always caught my attention, so working in places that allow me to generate experience in that environment would be great.
I also consider that i´m a person who learns new skills quickly.
