Hi!
We are Friederike and Zoé from Germany, we are both 20 years old and have been best friends since our early childhood. After finishing our school last summer we went on a journey to southern Africa as a way to start a new chapter of our lives.
As little girls we were already extremely attracted to Africa because of our addiction to the movie "The Lion King". Growing up this interest evolved into a fascination. We started to really think about going one step further and decided that a longer journey would be the perfect way to experience Africa, especially South Africa and Namibia.
During the trip our goal is not only to see the Big Five or to visit touristic centres but to get to know how life is really lived in these countries. To be honest we are of course very passionate about the wildlife and the nature but on the other hand we also want to meet the people and to learn about their cultures.
As a conclusion we are very open-minded, willing to work and to learn new things and just want to broaden our horizons by discovering Africa.
We did this trip together in 2021-2022 in southern Africa and it was amazing! We just fell in love with Africa. So the next destination is Tanzania. There’s no real plan but the best time would be between July and September before the next semester starts in October.
Would be awesome to find some travel buddies and to explore a new country together.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We both are open-minded young people who already practiced their adadptability on an exchange to France for three months in 10th grade. On this trip we had to cope with a new situation in a foreign country on our own. We were able to experience how to get used to a different life and how we should meet strangers in order to deal with one another in a friendly way or even to become friends.

We would love to be helpful whereever we are needed. If there are things we are not capable of doing we will be motivated to learn almost everything.
