Hi I am Yen from Taiwan👧🏻🇹🇼!

This is my second time as a Workawayer, last time was in Dafins, Austria🇦🇹 & Willisau, Switzerland 🇨🇭 in 2023.

I am now in my transition period before heading to Europe for a master's degree in Intercultural Communication or social innovation.
Sooooooo glad to be back!!
I am looking forward to participating in some innovative project as well!!

💭Who am I?💭
I am an outdoor enthusiast and I can feel so fulfilled and loved just to be bathed in nature. I hike mountains over 3,000m in Taiwan(they are so-called "Baiyue 百岳"), I do rock climbing as well, and I call it my lifetime obsession.
I also do trail running, swimming, surfing, recently want to involve more Ashtanga yoga.
For sure I would love to be involved with any kind of sports(or food) that you love!

I am:
50% cat person - 50% dog person
60% introverts- 40% extroverts
80% tea person - 20% coffee
1001% outdoor-enthusiasts

I love meeting people from around the world, knowing their ideas and lifestyles, and having cultural exchanges and also SHOCKs together!

1. I am fluent in Chinese, conversational English.
2. I worked in the service industry, outdoor industry, and consultancy.
3. I also once served as a housekeeper in a hostel, so I understand the basic operations like cleaning, preparing rooms, helping guests, and keeping the space friendly and clean.🧹
4. I have experience in working with wood, gardening(using permaculture), and housing maintenance in my previous Workaway.🌱
5. I have good physical fitness, once carried 44pounds backpack to the mountain😂.
6. I love sweat a lot. Love to get my hands dirty!💦
7. I can call myself a clean freak cuz I’m always like it being simple and tidy:p 🫧
8. I have an international driving license, and I drive safely.
9. I can cook some homemade mother-like Taiwanese dishes.🍚
10. I am a trained outdoor rescuer in the mountains, so I value safety in outdoor areas a lot.
