My name is Yangyang Xu, I’m 27 years old, from Fujian, China🇨🇳
I speak Mandarin, Hokkien, fluent English, and basic Japanese (around N4). I can understand many daily conversations. I hold a working visa.

I am available from 26.02.24.

//My Background//

I come from an open and multicultural family. My grandfather is from Indonesia, and my parents lived in Dubai for 10 years. These experiences shaped me into someone who is open-minded, positive, responsible, and serious about both work and learning.
I love exploring the world and connecting with people. I have volunteered with autistic children in Vietnam, worked at an orphanage in Kenya, and I donate monthly to support girls’ education in rural China.
I really appreciate the Japanese value of gratitude, and I love the warmth and humanity in Japanese art and culture. Besides ACG, I enjoy J-pop and reading books by Japanese writers. I hope to create a rich life and make a positive impact on the world :)

【2025.10-11 Aomori + Tokyo】✅
One week traveling in Aomori two weeks living in Tokyo.
I was deeply touched by Tsugaru culture and regional revitalization in Kuroishi.
In Tokyo, I joined free community Japanese classes at the ward office.
【2025.11 Ueda, Nagano】✅
2 weeks. I helped with weeding, harvesting vegetables, and farm maintenance (about 3 hours a day). It was my first farming experience, full of sunshine and joy.
【2025.12-2026.02 Osaka】✅
2 months. Housework & dogsitting. This experience taught me how much care and effort it takes to maintain a home and create a healthy environment for pets.
【～2026.02.24 Wakayama】planned
3 weeks. With a strong interest in community-building, I will spend three weeks in a rural area of Wakayama, where I will take part in farming and learn about sustainable ways of living through daily practice.

【Childcare】I have cared for children since middle school, as my younger sister and brother were born when I was 15 and 17. So that I took care of kids from an early age.

【Pet sitting】I am currently doing a 2-month Workaway in Osaka, walking three dogs about 6 km daily, and helping with bathing and grooming.

【Housework & cooking】 I’m clean, organized, and good at cooking Chinese food. I love eating and cooking for friends, and I have almost no food restrictions.

【Art & photography】 I enjoy drawing and street photography. I can edit videos. I have also organized campus art exhibitions with friends.

【Well-being & self-growth】I care deeply about mental and physical health. I have mild ADHD and have studied a lot about mental well-being. I practice yoga, swimming, and reflective writing, and I’m happy to share and learn together.
