Hello!

We are Xavier and Elise, 23 and 27 years old. We’re from Canada and Belgium.

About us, we’re both easy going and we get along with many people. We like to meet new people from all over the world! We’re openminded and we believe that we can learn something in every situation.
We’re also fast learners and very good working alone or in a group. We like the job to be well done and we invest in the work we do. In our daily life, we try to be mindful of our thoughts or emotions and enjoy every moment of life!

Meditation is something that we both practice. We also like cooking, reading, journaling, hiking, bicycling, … and loooove playing games :) We love music and both play instruments : Xavier plays trumpet, drums and guitar, and Elise plays the piano. Xavier can also ride a unicycle and we both slackline!
The environment is important for us, so we try to limit our waste as possible, also being conscious of our actions in our daily life. We both grew up with animals and we love them so much that we don’t wanna eat them :) So Xavier is vegan and Elise is vegetarian.

Xavier did a trade in auto mechanic and has experience with westfalias! Elise studied speech therapy and loves working with children.
We discovered wwoofing before knowing each other and we actually met wwoofing. We have a lot of experience in permaculture and really enjoy working on farms but we’re also interested to try other types of work workaway has to offer. We love discovering new things and learning new skills!

We're traveling to BC beginning of June and we’re open to any opportunity of work on Vancouver Island for a few days starting mid June. Thanks for reading our profile and don’t hesitate to contact us!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Xavier: I have experience with cars as I did a trade in mechanic, I'm also good with operating machinery such as skidsteers or backhoes, I have experience working with my dad. I'm handy with tools. I have season's experience managing a fruit and vegetable market where I was in charge of loading and driving the van and maning the market from start to finish. I'm good with computers and technology. I'm ponctual, adaptable, patient and an early riser, I'm a quick learner and I ask questions if I'm not sure. I'm open to many jobs and I'm excited to help wherever I can!

Elise: As I worked with children, I have developped some qualities such as patience and gentleness. I have a good contact with children and I like to spend time with them, especially the very young ones.
I also worked as a medical receptionist, and this experience developped my organisation, my enmpathy and my stress management. I really liked being useful to others and helping them.
I would also say about me that I'm a very curious person and I generally learn quickly. I'm rigourous and I like my work to be well done. I would therefore be very happy to discover new things and to be able to adapt to your environment !
