Currently in Japan Snowboarding (Feb 26). Looking for a Workaway mid march - mid April somewhere in SE Asia. Ideally teaching Yoga!

Beschreibung

Hi, I’m a solo traveller taking a career break and explore the world as I slowly relocate from the UK back home to NZ.

I’m looking for a Workaway from the middle of March to the middle of February 2026 somewhere in Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia etc.

I practice yoga & mediate regularly and hoping to get some teaching experience as have recently completed 550 Yoga Teacher Training (500 hours mixed Hatha & Ashtanga, 50 hours Yin, in Rishikish and Varkala India) .

I’m also very competent working in the Garden and with outdoor construction. Love making compost and clearing areas to create new gardens and spaces.

Have worked and volunteered in kitchens and am pretty happy to help out wherever needed.

Looking for connections & community and like being part of something that is adding value to world.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Weeding, planting, pruning, bed preparation, ground clearance, crop rotation, companion planting, permaculture.
Composting, worm farms, green manure, hugelcultur.
Light construction and basic diy, landscaping.
Chainsawing and firewood splitting.
Basic plumbing and electrical.
Food preparation, cooking, washing up.

Had a large allotment with 5 large beds for crops, polytunnel, orchard (berries, apples pears etc), hot box compost & worm farm, wildlife ponds. All built by myself and a friend including major landscaping.

Have worked on building sites - electrical, data, Audio video, and some plumbing.

In my own home have completed painting & decorating, Tiling, rewiring.

Also have sales, marketing, finance and management experience but would rather be working with my hands!

Good at card games and quick to learn new ones.
Experienced at backgammon and can teach - anything to get a game.
Slowly improving at chess.
Pretty good at flower/devil stick / staff and can do all on fire.
Hike a lot and love being in nature.
