Beschreibung

Hi! We’re Violette (28) and Lucas (30), a French couple currently traveling in Asia.
We’re curious, open-minded, and we love discovering new ways of living by getting involved in local projects.

Lucas :
30 years old and full of energy.
I’ve been working in construction since I was 16, mainly in plastering, but I’m comfortable with all kinds of hands-on work.
I enjoy discovering new cultures, learning from different ways of life, and getting out of my comfort zone.
I’m quite sporty, I’ve played rugby for years, but I enjoy any activity that gets me moving. I like using my body and staying active; sitting still isn’t really my thing.
I’m also sensitive to ecological issues. My grandmother passed on her love for nature and sustainability.

Violette :
I’m a curious, willing, and open-minded person. I studied communication and marketing, but I quickly felt the need to explore other paths. So I’ve worked in very different fields : agriculture, cooking, tourism, and I’ve traveled whenever I could.
I’m dynamic, adaptable, and I love learning by doing. I enjoy working with my hands, spending time outdoors, and feeling useful in concrete, hands-on projects.
I volunteered in Peru (farm, guesthouse, school) and in Argentina (farm, beekeeping) , amazing experiences that left me with very good memories.

We both enjoy being outdoors, working with our hands, and helping out where it’s needed.
We’re motivated, adaptable and easygoing.
We’re happy to help with:
• Gardening / outdoor maintenance
• Building, painting, DIY
• Cooking, cleaning, hosting guests
We work well together as a team and we’re also autonomous when needed.

We're not vegetarian but we like to eat healthy food with local products. We would like to learn about local cuisine, and why not share some French recipes.

We’re looking for a place where we can help, learn, and live close to nature.
We don’t need much, just a kind and respectful atmosphere.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Lucas :
I’ve been working in construction since I was 16, mainly as a plasterer so I'm used to carrying heavy loads, using tools, and finding practical solutions on site.
I also have experience in event setup, which taught me to stay organized and work efficiently under pressure.
Thanks to rugby, I’ve developed a strong team spirit and I enjoy working with others to get things done.

Violette :
I have already worked on many farms (organic or not) in France (harvesting apples, melons, strawberries, etc.; planting; sorting...) and I really want to know more about environmentally friendly growing techniques. I like the contact with the earth and the different elements that compose it. I like working with animals to feed and care for them.
I also like to do a lot of DIY things. In France, I built my own van to live in 6 years ago. This experience really allowed me to learn different skills (plan, insulation, use of different tools, electricity, water system, etc...). For me, this way of living allows a great freedom and also to be close to nature.
I studied communication and marketing, and even if it is not really my thing, I like to create graphic design.
I play some music (ukulele) and I like to read.
