Ich bin gerade

Beschreibung

Hi,

I´m traveling around the world in a gap year. I worked on an organic farm in Canada for three months, travelled the US and New Zealand, going hiking with friends and staying on beef cattle and horse trekking farms. Now I´m exploring Australia.
I want to see new places AND get in touch with locals. I don't want to be a stereotypical tourist.

I´m more of a creative person, I can knit, sew, make spoons etc. but I also love sports. In my free time I go vaulting, riding, swimming, biking, hiking, kayaking,... I play the cello and I enjoy baking, I make my own sourdough bread or pizza dough. School was quite boring so I enjoy being able to do something ´useful´ - I work very independently and precisely.

Together with my parents I travelled to many countries in Europe, but also to Africa, Asia,... I´m excited to star my own adventure now!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am experienced with animals, I have worked around sheep, pigs, ducks, geese, chickens, horses, dogs and cats. I am used to feeding and watering animals, mucking out, fencing. I learned how to milk sheep.
I have been doing horse sports for several years (riding, vaulting).
I did some garden work (weeding, watering). Wherever I´m familiar with the local flora, I gather herbs and use them for cooking/ baking. I also love picking fruit.
My knowledge in the kitchen is limited, I do everything that has to do with baking (bread, cake, baguette/croissants, pizza,..) and cook basic meals for myself. I´ve got some experience cooking on multi-day-hikes.
Last year I painted my room and put up a new shelf.
I have my own (private) blog on Instagram where I post photos and write longer texts, also basic skills with Microsoft Office, video cutting, photography (landscapes; close-ups of animals and humans ;-)...
I am also very eager to try and learn new things!
