Hi,

I'm a 24 years-old traveller from Quebec, Canada. I will be in Japan for about 10 months starting at the end of January 25th. I will meet my girlfriend, Dominique, in Hakuba (where she has a job in a ski resort) and I would love to also find a job in Hakuba for the first part of my trip (from February 1st until the end of the ski season. After that, who knows :)

I love the outdoors, making music, drawing, roaming around and meeting cool people. I also can't wait to try every dish I encounter. I'm always happy to find people to jam, go for an outing, make random projects or just for evenings of fun, food, talks, dance, etc.

I'm fluent in French and English and I am trying to learn as much Japanese as I can. I can also do a few sentences of German and Spanish if it helps.

I can't wait to arrive in Japan, meet cool people, travel around, discover great places and learn.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

In different Workaway opportunities I’ve had, I’ve done various jobs such as taking care of horses, cats and dogs, painting an apartment, weeding and general garden maintenance, serving tables at a hotel, cooking, cleaning and doing the dishes for a community.

At home, I've also taught English as a private tutor and worked with youth in summer camps and the Canadian Cadets organization. I prepared and organised activities, supervised staff and cadets, and handled communications and promotion. I learned customer service skills through work in 3 different cafes, a restaurant and a movie theater. I'm flexible, adapt quickly and have good time management, and teamwork.

I completed an undergraduate degree in social innovation (which revolves around community work and social organizations), in Canada and in Norway.
