(Vicky) Although half French I have spent most of my life in Scotland. 9 years ago I met the love of my life. A lovely and very kind Portuguese/ South African man (Tony). For many years we have dreamed about moving to the sun to escape the rat race of life. In May 2024 we decided to take the leap and set off on an almighty adventure to find where we want to call home in Portugal. I have a deep love of all animals (especially dogs) having spent most of my working life as a dog groomer. I also love to be in nature as I find it very soothing to my soul. Exploring all things spiritual and being around animals and in the sun and nature is where my heart always feels at its most joyous and fulfilled. I’m a happy, positive and creative person who always likes to contribute to making the world a better place.
(Tony) Although I am Portuguese I spent most of my youth in South Africa. I’ve been living in the Uk for almost 25 years but have been craving a return to the sun and to return to my Portuguese routes as whenever I come to Portugal it feels like home. I’m very hard working with a kind and honest nature. I love dogs and helping people in need. I also love cleaning and being a generally organised and tidy person. My job in the Uk was quite physical and so I am strong and fit and happy to do any physical labour.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I am great with animals having spent 17 years as a dog groomer. I’m never afraid to get my hands dirty and get stuck into messy jobs whether that be in the garden or in the home. I love to cook and clean and I am always willing to try new things. Being a naturally creative person (I make my own gemstone jewellery) I like to make things look pretty and do jobs to a high standard where possible. I have also studied holistic therapies such as angelic reiki, massage and reflexology.

In terms of hobbies I enjoy walking and being in nature. I love lazing on the beach and the sound of the waves carrying away all your stresses. I also like meditation and spiritual healing. I enjoy listening to music, eating good food, visiting simple local places to enjoy a nice meal, meeting like minded kind hearted people and being in the company of animals.
