In the week, I did different types of work: gardening, tidying, walking with Lucky and preparing for photography. I did beautiful Sandy bay, light house and Wellington's bay walk, also daily walks with Lucky. Shelley is a very real person. We have dinner together everyday and relaxing evenings. I also met some of her nice friends.

Where to begin? I had an absolutely amazing time with Shelley. She is such a sweet and kind person and spreads a good mood everywhere she goes with her open personality.

The work was varied, not too hard and you had still plenty of time left to use the rest of the day. Also you're never alone because the sweet dogs Mickey and Lucky keep you entertained throughout the day.
Shelley took such good care of me: She drove me to beaches, took me to a market and to a fitness class, a lot of friends and her son came to visit from
time to time, we had a really fun pizza night with lots of people, and every day she checked to make sure everything was okay. We laughed a lot together, watched movies and series and ate delicious food.

Shelley is a wonderful person and we have had some great laughs. I am happy to have stayed with her and Lucky and was sad to leave today. The week with Shelley was my first work away experience and I could not ask for a better one. She gave me a lift from whangarei and welcomed me in her beautiful cozy home :)

Lucky is the sweetest dog ever :) I will miss him so much, he was perfect to cuddle with him during a movie night and every other.
Shelley is such a hard-working woman but always did find the time during the day to make it special for me.
She really has invited me to share her life and so I become part of beautiful dinners, bbqs, concert and meetings with her friends.
Shelley introduced me so kind and I was amazed by the friendly and kind reactions.
All of the people I met in Ngunguru, thanks to Shelley, were so kind and lovely.

They will stay in your heart.
Even if it was just a week, I really felt quickly like home and I got a little emotional at the end of my stay because I really didn't want to leave.

We had a most amazing week with Shelley and Lucky in Ngunguru! This was our first workaway experience and it felt like we hit the jackpot. Shelley is such a sweet person, and we immediately felt welcomed.

We ate tremendously well, and enjoyed our free time swimming and kayaking with Lucky, surfing, and exploring sand dunes and estuaries.

I enjoyed my stay so much. Here home is beautiful. Shelley and Jacquin are so chilled I felt so relaxed and right at home.
