Hi there,
I am Violette, 32.
I volunteered in many places through the years : U.S.A, France, Germany, England, Ireland, Spain, Japan and Taiwan .

Through the years I figured art will always be my calling, and I decided to make it my compass through volunteering from now on.

If I contact you, It means I read your whole presentation and think we could be a good match. I'd be delighted to have a clear answer, may it be negative, to keep the spirit of volunteering respectful.

In order for our hypothetical time together to be the most fulfilling, I'd need clarity in the missions you'd have for me when I join you. Especially regarding time off / clear infos about food / housing accommodation / ...

If I am to paint a mural or do art for you, please consider the following : Art takes times, art needs space, art is messy sometimes. Also, keep in mind I need the clearest infos possible regarding a project.

How much money can you invest in potential paint? What is the size of the surface you'd wish me to paint? What fabric and texture is the wall? Are you ready to accept I would likely need more time that you project for my project? Are you ready to either let me go totally free with a creation or give me indications that are likely to be challenged?

I think what I am really looking for is time with local people, this is what makes me feel the most useful and fulfiled. And as much as I liked building/cleaning/harvesting, working mainly alone lacks connexion for me, therefore like to concentrate on jobs that could require community.

I did many jobs in the past. Built a career as a tattoo artist and worked as a English teacher and translator, wood worker, secondhand shop manager,...

I think I developed quite a strong attachment for Asia and I really want to discover more.

I think I am quite contemplative and joyful, and can be quite an introvert with joyful outbursts. I'd be really glad to be part of your world or community.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I did many different jobs in my life and am always passionate about many :

• Catering food prep for movie crews, taught French and English (I can perfectly speak both of these languages)
• Teaching english as a private teacher and doing international document translations in different fields, mainly Women right, Nature related content regarding bio-economy and diversity, research on new medic technologies (mainly deaf/HOF community and cochlear implanted advocate). As I have a cochlear Implant.
• Tattoo artist and body piercer, body modifications being an art form I have a lot of respect and admiration for, I work in different shops.
• Self defence assistant teacher in France in the UK in women shelters.
• Working in charities rising funds for Cancer Research and Homeless people , managing, selling and cashier assistant.
• Private trip booker/organizer and day helper for private groups in Disneyland Paris.
• I am also an alternative model for brands like Killstar, small businesses or tattoo shops/artists, I did around 12 photoshoots, one picture being included in my profile.


During volunteering :

• I worked with young adults struggling with mental Health, taught cooking to young adults previously homeless.

• Construction work : Worked on tiling, renovating old walls in an ancestral way in Cornwall, cleaned Druidic sites in Kilkenny, Helped local communities with handling everyday little fixing in Columbus,OH.

• I picked, cleaned and packed plants and berries, harvested vegetables for farmer's market and helped cooked some natural medecine in Spain and England.

• I also took care of hens, cows and sheep. Milking, tending to their daily needs, cleaning their sheds/...

I guess my hobbies are quite varied.

I really like reading, especially autobiographies, getting to know people's perspectives on the world, and hearing about people stories or imaginations. Cinema is another one I love quite a lot, I have an unlimited pass to the movies in France and love spending a day watching many movies on end, I find it extremely relaxing but also makes me travel somehow.

As a tattoo artist but also a drawer, I love to see people's art, especially what they get to create without judgement, what comes to them and inspire them. Spending some shared days creating or learning techniques/teaching really brings me joy. Trying new ways to draw, and get rid of limitation.

If we are speaking of boardgames, I am more of a lone wolf in those even though in lfe I really seek for people's company. Not a big fan of cooperative games, though I really wish to try that ahah !

I did some extra credits at uni in wellbeing and it's a part of people's life I tend to be really interested in, it being regarding health, but also their habits of life, helping them relax and improve in their everyday life. Ayurveda, muscle movements, Emotional Freeing Technique,...

I guess I am also a dreamy child sometimes, though I tend to only wear black, constant colorful discoveries are a passion of mine to keep me happy : What type of Junmai sake will I try next, and what will it make me feel like ? What song will I teach my students today ? What city will I go and explore ? I can be quite a daydreamer with a determined mind.
