Beschreibung

Hi, I am 32 years old, from Germany and currently taking a longer break from my job as a medical doctor. I started this break with backpacking and after coming back I renovated a caravan to start my trip through Europe. As I am not sure if I am going back to my old job or where I am going to live, I am excited to see and learn different lifestyles, mindsets and creative ways of thinking, working, community etc.

I have done privately organised volunteering f.e. at a vineyard and animal shelter but as I have more time now I want to do workaway on a regular basis. I also had a lot of jobs in my life like cleaning, cassier in the supermarket, ice cream seller, bartender at a Christmas market and so on, I really find joy in trying lots of different things and learninh from it.

I love renovating/building projects, DIY and all sorts of handy and physical work. Though I would probably need an indroduction/guidance with specific building task, I consider myself a quick learner. To learn more in renovation and upkeeping of a property as well as hospitality is one of my biggest goals as I can imagine buying an older house later on in life to renovate it myself and rent out rooms or camping spaces.

I also really like to cook and go on markets and love every kind of cuisine, from vegan, vegetarian to omnivorous. Learning about the local cuisine would be lovely.

I like working in a team but will only need a coffee in the morning before you see my social side ;). I can also really appreciate alone time with a book, podcast or a good series or watching various sports.

As I am travelling with a small Caravan (3,8 m cabin length) I would prefer living in it during a stay, if that is not possible I am fine with whatever accomodation is given.

I am always up for laughs and some banter with our without a glass of wine or beer after done work ;).

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Basic knowledge/experience in various parts of constructing/renovating/painting. I am not afraid of using any tool and usedsome before.
Basic knowledge in gardening.
I have a license to drive vehicles upto 7,5 tons.
Good cook (in my own opinion;)).
Quick learner.
I have medical experience and worked a lot of hours in an emergency room so I can help in case of an injury or emergency.
I am open minded and unprejudiced and like to have a laugh, I don't take myself seriously.

Was noch ...

I love Tennis, Tabletennis, Badminton, Volleyball and Snowboarding even though I did it too rarely in the last couple of years. I also love scuba diving.
My favourite boardgame is backgammon and I am always ecstatic to meet fellow players.
I listen to every kind of music, only jazz and metal wouldn't be my go to music all day long;)
Even though I am a smoker I am very respectful of the places where it is allowed or not allowed.
