My name is tomi. Currently I live in Vienna and after abstaining from longer travels for two years i am ready to escape winter and explore again.

Spending time in nature and being in a relationship to my natural environment is highly important for me and a big part of my life. Especially my relationship to plants is quiet good and i already learned a lot from them :)

After attending an agricultural school in my youth I studied comparative literature before embarking on a journey through different areas social work.
Until now this journey lead me to work in schools as well as non- insitutional forms of childcare, with homeless people, refugees and people with disabilities.
Most recently i worked in a project preparing adolescents with special needs for the job market by working with them in a a gardening project.
Generally I always try to integrate agriculture/nature somehow into my everyday (work)life.
In agriculture i also already gathered some experience by having had a garden for the last 7 years as well as by doing workaways on permacultural projects on the canary islands. Physically exhausting work is not a scaring me away.
I have been living in shared houses for the last 7 years and enjoy being part of a community during day to day life a lot.
During my time on the canary Islands I also learned basic spanish, that i hope to refresh, use and improve during my stay in Colombia.

Me llamo tomi. Actualmente vivo en Viena y después de abstenerme de viajes durante dos años, estoy lista para escapar del invierno y explorar nuevamente.
Pasar tiempo en la naturaleza y estar en relación con mi entorno natural es muy importante para mí y una gran parte de mi vida. Especialmente mi relación con las plantas es bastante buena y ya aprendí mucho de ellas :)
Después de asistir a una escuela agrícola en mi juventud, estudié literatura comparativa y después emprender a un viaje por diferentes áreas del trabajo social.
Hasta ahora, este viaje me ha llevado a trabajar en escuelas y en formas no institucionales de cuidado infantil, con personas sin hogar, refugiados y personas con discapacidades.
Más recientemente trabajé en un proyecto que preparaba a adolescentes para el mercado laboral, trabajando con ellos en un proyecto agricultural.
Generalmente siempre trato de integrar la agricultura y la naturaleza de alguna manera en mi vida (laboral) cotidiana.
En agricultura también he adquirido algo de experiencia habiendo tenido un huerto durante los últimos 7 años y realizando workaways en proyectos permaculturales en las islas canarias. El trabajo físicamente agotador no me asusta.
He estado viviendo en casas compartidas durante los últimos 7 años y disfruto mucho ser parte de una comunidad en la vida cotidiana.
Durante mi estancia en las Islas Canarias también aprendí español básico, que espero actualizar, utilizar y mejorar durante mi viaje en Colombia.
